This was supposed to be a private cabin, instead it was a private entrance to a fourplex. 3 other families in the same building. The design of our space was nice enough. The view was nice. The cabin was not at all secluded as it was not a cabin.

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us! We’re sorry to hear the level of privacy didn’t meet your expectations. Our treehouses are part of a unique four-unit building design, and we do make sure to note that explicitly and many times in our listing. Each unit has its own private hot tub, firepit, and privacy walls to create a comfortable and secluded experience while still being part of a shared structure. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts — it helps us continue to ensure our descriptions are clear and that guests know exactly what to expect.
Treehouse D was just the escape I needed from the busyness of Charlotte. The stay was very serene and relaxing. The treehouse was clean and the hot tub was a perfect addition. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Bryson City.

Thanks for the great review, Melanie! Come back and see us, anytime!
Definitely enjoyed this solo, quiet time I had there. It was exactly what I needed and was looking for to get away from my crazy, busy life! Place was very clean, neighbors weren't too loud, could use a better map of the property to get to the waterfall/park. Otherwise, nice little gem for my birthday get away!
Treehouse D exceeded our expectations. Although there are four units in the building, it was like we were alone. The parking, fire pit, and deck are all very private. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We loved relaxing on the deck surrounded by trees. The hot tub was a nice extra!

We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to hosting you in the future!
We very much enjoyed our stay! Moving forward we will select a free standing property that does not share walls. We were awakened our first night ~12:15 am to a couple that arrived loudly arguing which then turned into an amorous headboard knocking session until 2:30am. The walls are not very well soundproofed.
A beautiful property, will definitely look into renting a cabin!

Hi Nancy, our sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We would love to have you back. We would be delighted to have you stay in one of our beautiful cabins.
The property was great. Firewood for one night was supplied. Enjoyed the hot tub. Bed slept well. However, there were some drawbacks in the cabin: the fireplace didn't work, no light around the stove top or kitchen counter, no door between living room and bedroom to block TV noise, and only one bathroom. Otherwise, it was a great stay close to the Nantahala River.
We loved this little place! Very remote but also very accessible once off the mountain.
Be sure to print out a good map beforehand, and try to arrive before dark. We were lost along with 2 other couples that first night, but found our way!
We would love to have known beforehand that we shared a common wall with another unit (wasn't 100% clear to me; thought they were independent units), and would also have loved to have a few more household items available, like extra blankets in the bedroom, aluminum foil or ziplocs in kitchen.
We recommend it and loved our stay!

Thanks for the great feedback, Shannon. We've been working hard on updating our resort and addressing the issues mentioned. Come back anytime!
This was such a special and relaxing place! We stayed in Treehouse D, and it was splendid. We had the entire place to ourselves the entire time, so it was peaceful and quite. There is so much detail and extras put into the cabin. In fact, the entire place! We were in the hot tub every morning and evening. We sat out by the fire pit after returning from hikes and looking at property. We discovered so many surprises as we explored the property. There are hiking trails within the resort, some leading to waterfalls. The Yard at the very top had amazing views, games, and large swings you could literally lay in and drift off the sleep. I cannot say enough about this little gem, and we will definitely be back! Thank you, Mike, for making our last minute check in so easy and stress free!

Great property, unfortunate events…
The photos of this property does not do it justice! Cozy cabin in a beautiful location. Comfortable bed, good tv, mostly stocked kitchen, relaxing hot tub and great deck with a view. Gas grill a plus.
I wish I could give this place 5 stars, but…
Upon arriving, we learned the water had to be turned off because of nearby construction of some kind (so no running water for cooking, flushing the toilet, showering, etc). It was turned off and on again for the first 2 days we stayed, which included construction workers walking back and forth through the “backyard” constantly which was a bit unsettling. There was no starter toilet paper or extra towels for the hot tub (finally had some delivered after calling some number multiple times, but the lady who “helped” me was rude). There was only one wine glass. The provided coffee mugs were too big for the pod coffee maker. I reached out to the vrbo manager for the unit several times and never heard a word from him.
