Unfortunately, I got ill upon arrival and my husband spent only 3 nights at the house and we had to leave altitude. We stayed here 2 years ago and enjoyed the house. Would note on listing that you cannot park in the garage if van remains there.
My young family enjoyed staying in this amazing home! The views of the mountains and stars are unbeatable. The home itself is nicer than photos show and is close to town and many hiking trails.
We love this home so much that this is our second time to stay here. The views are amazing The home is so accommodating, well suited for our family (grown children with their significant others). We loved the kitchen. Cooked and grilled and shared wonderful fun family meals. We dined on the back deck and enjoyed the sunsets. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The neighborhood is beautiful. We enjoyed walking, hiking and playing pickle ball. We are close to town but not in the traffic of downtown. We will definitely want to return.

So glad you enjoyed your stay in Crested Butte. I consider it my slice of paradise.
We have been coming to the area for almost thirty years and have stayed in many different properties. For our family this is by far the best. It’s clean, beautiful, has breathtaking views and it’s close enough to town without being in the thick of the hustle that can be around the holidays in CB!
The property was amazing and the owners and manager were incredibly responsive. Couldn’t have had a better stay. We have stayed in several rentals around Crested Butte and this property was perfect for us. A beautiful home, great location and very quiet. We will try to book again next year!!
Beautiful house! Great area. Comfortable, quiet. Easy to get to anywhere we wanted to go.
The owners were friendly, responsive, and very easy to work with.
Highly recommended.

Thanks for your kind words and the 5 star review. Glad you enjoyed your time in CB AND YOUR STAY AT THE HOUSE
My husband and I took my brother on a trip to Crested Butte for his 40th birthday. He is in a motorized wheelchair, so it was very important to us that he found a home that was accessible. It was the perfect spot! Spectacular view of the mountains and in a convenient location. We absolutely loved our time there.

So glad your stay was enjoyable. Fully handicapped accessible can mean so many things. Beth is a paraplegic who used to love staying at the house in CB. Thanks for your comments.
This family which includes extended relatives, stayed at numerous VRBOs, cabins, and lodges over the last 15 yrs. This is the most well stocked kitchen by a mile. We had every cooking item we could ask for and then some things we were surprised to find. We loved the layout and ample seating. We cooked and ate most of our meals in the house. The layout was perfect. The accessibility for our senior parents was exceptional. The elevator was an incredible convenience. The views are other worldly. As one previous poster commented, the pics don’t do them justice. We also took advantage of the pickleball court just down the street! An incredible stay by such thoughtful hosts! Rent this now!
Wonderful. Well equipped, comfortable beds and great location for skiing at CB (if you have a car)
We had a group of 8 and everybody had a bed and plenty of space to spread out.
Less expensive than other options that were less than 1mi away.
Hope we can rent again!!
The home has the patina of a well cared for high-end home. The solid exposed beam super structure combined with the reclaimed wood stair treads and raw cherry wood floors add to the feel of true mountain living. I really have no complaints. Ok…maybe I do wish it had a wood burning fire place. We hope to return soon.

I am glad you enjoyed your stay at the house and appreciate the kind words in your review.
This place was amazing. The owners had everything fully stocked and I mean everything. It is pet friendly, and my dogs had a blast going up and down the stairs. What was even better was the elevator in the house. This was the best place for my family to stay b/c we wanted to be able to cook and do laundry without the worry. It is super close to town. The owners response rate was awesome. We have already shared the link to this house with friends so they can stay too.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beth and Greg’s home. The house is conveniently located near town and a variety of outdoor activities. Our family celebrated our first white Christmas in years, and the views were stunning! I loved watching the snow roll in.The elevator was incredibly convenient for bringing in groceries and luggage. The radiant heated floors were a delight, keeping our toes warm and cozy. Each room had its own temperature control, which was perfect for those who prefer to sleep in a cooler room while enjoying a warmer bathroom. We made full use of the well-stocked kitchen, allowing us to prepare breakfast every day and cook several amazing dinners. We will definitely be back!
We had a lovely stay at the Bookwalter's home. We arrived to a warm and welcoming home with a large mudroom for all our winter gear and boots so there was no reason to track any snow in the main part of the house. The abundant hooks are the best! The home had all that we needed including beautiful views. You can tell a lot of time and consideration was put into the layout and ability to enjoy time with family in the mountains. There were comments about the owner's things in the house, but this didn't bother us at all. They were very considerate about storing their things away and it felt as if we were staying at a "friend's house". They also kindly let us check out 2 hours later since it didn't interfere with the next guests.
Thank you!
The property is gorgeous with stunning views in every direction. Accessibility is imperative for our family; we have a son with Duchenne muscular dystrophy who uses a power wheelchair for mobility. This property is ideal with an easy to use elevator and 2 roll-in showers!!
The house is spacious and very comfortable. However it could be stocked with paper products and hand soap for the first few days. There were plenty of bath soap bars provided. There were empty hand soap dispensers and 2 rolls of toilet paper that only had a few sheets each; the paper towel roll in the kitchen had 3 sheets left. Also, there were 4 dishwasher capsules. If you are not going to provide these products, you should notify future guests to bring them or be ready to purchase them. Are you aware Clark’s general store is closed until December??? It will not be easy for guests in the next few months to purchase these products!!n
The cleanliness issue - bathrooms were clean, but the kitchen had some issues. First of all, the springs on the dishwasher door need to be replaced! One guest opened the door and it scraped his shin when he let the door go and it banged the whole way open! The range top needs a thorough cleaning. There was caked on grease around each burner & the downdraft vent had food & grease in it. Also the tip out compartment for dish scrubbers contained an old rusty SOS that left crud. Also several light bulbs were burned out. Dust & cobwebs in some areas - glass shelves, beams.
The house is beautiful and well appointed. The location was perfect for us, as we wanted to be close to downtown, but not actually stay downtown. We loved that this was a dog friendly property. Enjoyed our stay at this house.
This home was wonderful for our family of 6 plus grandparents. The neighbors were great. Safe place for kids to ride bikes, play basketball at the end of cul-de-sac and run around outside. Plenty of seating inside, lots of kitchen utensils and pots and pans to cook with. There was a small pond to fish in and alittle playground close by. The best of all was the mountain views! You are surrounded by mountains and it was lovely to sit on the porch and enjoy!
