Minutes to Main Street Highlands - The "postcard" downtown that offers plenty of art galleries, antique stores, and upscale boutiques. This updated 3-bedroom cottage with French décor is perfect for a girls' weekend, a romantic getaway, or a family vacation.
The screened porch is complete with a wood-burning fireplace, comfortable seating, and a large TV. Sip your morning coffee on the covered patio or end your day with your favorite pour in hand. This is the perfect place to unplug and unwind!
The living room offers a fireplace, a cozy wrap-around sofa, and beautiful windows to observe nature. The well-stocked kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and rustic farmhouse charm. We just added a sectional couch that is perfect for kids if you need more sleeping space as it will accommodate 2 extra people.
Escape for the night to three spacious bedrooms. The primary room features a king-sized bed, and the two guest rooms each have queen beds.

Great location close to town, very comfy master bedroom. Loved the porch. The only negative I can give "if any" would be that the home is close to the main road so there is road noise until about 8:00 PM... other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much at this charming home. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and the hosts communicated well and made us feel welcome and right at home!
Our family really enjoyed staying in this cottage. Close proximity to Highlands and Cashiers and comfortable accommodations. We also had a bear mama and her cub come visit the backyard while we were here!
Honeysuckle Cottage was a perfect fit for us with bedrooms on opposite ends of the house and comfortable living space in the middle.
Great location close to town.
Hoping to go back soon.
We went to visit the Highlands area to do a little “leaf peeping.” This house was perfect for two couples! Everything was super clean. The owners were fantastic and responded quickly when we couldn’t figure out how to “work” the fireplace and TV. Location was very convenient.

My daughters and I love the mountains so we decided to book a place where we could gather and bring our dogs (poodles). We were pleased the house was clean without dog hair as well as the yard (without poo). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everyone was comfortable with the beds and the fire porch was excellent! Great location close to Highlands just in case you forget something at the store!

Thank you for choosing our home for your stay. Please visit with us anytime, your family is always welcome at our home
Carl and Tami were wonderful to work with from the very beginning. Their house is absolutely adorable and felt like home to us. The split floor plan was perfect, so we didn’t hear my daddy snore! It was tastefully decorated for Christmas. Which was one major reason we picked this property. The other reason was the wood burning fireplace outside. It was unreasonably cold while we were there. (-25 wind chill) So the fire made our smoke breaks almost bearable! The pups loved exploring outside. Had to keep them leashed since there wasn’t a fence, but they didn’t wanna stay out that long due to temps anyways! Pictures don’t do the living room justice. The tv is plenty big and on its own wall. Gas fireplace on the other. And the beautiful windows on the other. No matter which way we looked, we had terrific view. If in the Highlands again, we would definitely book this home again.
This quaint and cozy cottage was a great place for us to stay for a wedding we were attending at Flat Mountain Farm. Great proximity to the venue and to downtown Highlands. The cottage was well maintained and we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.
The cabin was nicely furnished and very clean. I loved the porch, but unfortunately it was quite cold while we were there and we did not have an opportunity to use it. Our only problem was with the living room fireplace. We were able to start it one time by following the owner’s instructions to start with the box inside the fireplace. After that one time we could not get it to work. Thanks for a nice stay.
Comfortable, cozy, classy and clean. Very close proximity to restaurants, shopping, etc in Highlands. Home had comfortable furnishings and beds and all amenities. Nice screened deck with fireplace was special on cool fall evenings although a little traffic noise was noticeable but proximity to downtown made it a good choice.for us.
Perfect spot just slightly away from the hub of the town. Perfectly located to enjoy the sites and nature. It met all our expectations and more. Very pleased!

About the host

We retired a few years ago and had the fortunate ability to move the to Highlands area. We have a large family with 7 children and 8 grandchildren along with marvelous kids spouses that we call family. We started our vacation journey in 2017 with one property on Lake Glenville and this has grown to include property management for several other homes in this area. We like to treat all our guest as family and welcome all to our homes and the others we manage. We feel communication is our greatest strength with our guest and look forward to all constructive comments that we might be able to add to our properties to make each stay a FIVE STAR experience.
