Riverfront Cottage / Fish Camp Getaway

Enjoy your relaxing studio cottage on the Linville River. You will enjoy a queen size bed, free WiFi, Smart TV (w/ premium cable), fireplace, fully stocked kitchen and washer/dryer. The main bed is a queen but there is a queen pull out couch to accommodate additional guests. You can comfortably and easily accommodated 4 guests. We’ll provide the linens, pillows, blankets, and towels that you’ll need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The space
Fish Camp Getaway sit directly on the bank of the Linville River where you can listen to the soothing sound of water flowing all day and night. The cottage is located off Linville HWY (NC 221), 3 miles from the Blue Ridge Pkwy and sits at an elevation of approx. 3600 ft.

Major nearby attractions are skiing, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, ATV riding, gem mining, zip lining, white water rafting, golf and more. There is lots of shopping, antiquing and art galleries. Great nearby restaurants, breweries & wineries! All close to Fish Camp Getaway!

Fish camp cottage

The cottage was quaint and comfortable, with a beautiful stream out the back door. The owner was super easy to communicate with—would definitely stay here again!!!

Perfect

This mini-house is a perfect vacation stay with everything you need. The kitchen is fully-equipped for real cooking with full-sized appliances. The porches are both gated, which made it very dog friendly. We spent as much time as we could on the back porch over the stream and saw some wildlife there. The location is central to many places, especially the Linville Falls Winery, the Linville Mechantile, and the Parkway.

Wonderful place

This was my second time staying in this area my first time at Ashton’s cabin. It was wonderful. It was time away for me to clear my head. The back porch is wonderful sitting back there listening to the birds and the river. Ashton is a wonderful host. I ran into Kim. Who does the cleaning when I got there she was very helpful also. I plan on staying again.

Perfect Peaceful Getaway

Ashton goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is exactly what you want. Communication and suggestions/recommendations were spot on. The cottage is fabulous and well stocked. It felt like home. Location is great for visiting Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, Linville Falls, and Blue Ridge Parkway, and more.

Peaceful retreat

A very cozy and peaceful little cabin right on the creek! Major relaxation vibes while you sit on your back porch overlooking the creek! Place was very clean and all the creature comforts were supplied! Would stay again.

Such a relaxing getaway!

The check-in and checkout was easy. The furnishings and supplies were perfect. I was very comfortable and enjoyed being on the river. I will definitely stay there again.

Fish Camp

This is a wonderful property with a very responsive host. Ashton was great and the property delightful! The sound of the river is so soothing, we will be back again and highly recommend a stay here!

The fish camp cottage is adorable and comfy. It had everything needed for a fun weekend in the mountains. The view of the river right behind the cottage is beautiful and awe inspiring. The community it is situated in, provides a safe and quiet location to enjoy the area. It’s also very close to the Linville Caverns and the National Forest.
