Beautiful house isolated up a gravel mountain road. The beds are extremely comfortable. Nice kitchen and sitting area. Nearby attractions and restaurants. Enjoyed my stay
This home is absolutely beautiful and makes for the perfect mountain hideaway for a family trip or couples weekend. We loved our trip and definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Spruce Pine or Little Switzerland area.

Thank you for the kind words. we try to get it right.
Pets would be fine here, although we don't travel with pets ourselves. It is in a beautiful area in the mountains. That said there isn't really flat outdoor area for little children. But the interior was spaciousand hosts were very accommodating. Super clean and a comfortable home away from home! Very nice architecture, a round deltec house.
A really nice little house in a gorgeous setting. Immaculately clean. We had a little hiccup with the check in, but it was fixed immediately, as the hosts were nearby.
Bob & Judy’s Round House is a wonderful place to stay! Very comfortable in every way, the location is beautiful, and offers great access to the entire area from Boone to Asheville. Communication was great. We had everything we needed. The only question we left with was when would we be coming back!
Bob and Judy's house is charming and quiet. The setting is beautiful, tucked deep in the mountains, but easy to get to. It was a wonderful stay, and close to so many special parts of the NC mountains. Although the house is small, it is spacious and comfortable. We hope to be back in the near future!
I would like to Thank Bob & Judy for sharing their home with us. The house is very clean and for me it was in a great location. Quite and peaceful. I would definitely like to sat again.
Thanks!

Thank you for the review. We regret that we were out of town and not able to meet you. Hope you return and we can do it then. bob and judy
Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway and convenient to Spruce Pine. Actually go under the BRP and down a gravel road to reach the property. The little round house is comfortable and well equipped. Having a washer and dryer is a plus. The ice maker is also a plus. Enjoyed our stay. The mattresses and pillows were hard and old. The den furniture is worn and dated. The towels and linens were nice. Comes with 2 small parking spots that are a challenge to park in.
The Little Round House is a fantastic retreat for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Tucked away in the hills and surrounded by trees, this unique stay offers the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. It's just minutes from downtown Spruce Pine and a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The home itself is charming, cozy, and well-appointed with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Whether you're sipping coffee on the porch, enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature, or unwinding inside, it's easy to feel at home here. The hosts have clearly put thought into making this a comfortable and welcoming space. If you're looking for a quiet getaway off the beaten path, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

Great Location, Cute House ... needs a few updates
Overall, our 2 night stay was a pleasant one. A 2 pm check in was a bonus. House was very cute, well equipped and in a good location (for an AWD car) and owners kind & helpful. The only drawback, which would have been a major concern had we been there longer than 2 nights, is that the mattresses desperately need to be replaced. One was especially horrendous, the other, only a hair better. Replacing them would bring me back for sure!

First ever complaint about mattresses. We realize they are avery personal preference and no 1 mattress suits everyone but we periodically ask people who stay for longer stretches of time if they are comfortable and we have had no one else that was not happy with them. We encourage everyone to let us know of anything that needs attention and we fix it immediately, but it just is not possible to please everyone mattress style, but be assured if we get more people who feel they are not comfortable we will change them.

Great time at the round house
We had a great time at the Round House, it was easy to find because they gave us turn by turn instructions. It is a beautiful place for sure, its alot bigger than we expected. Our dog enjoyed laying on the back deck watching the woods, it is very dog friendly. No thru traffic to worry about. The owners even brought us down a homemade ice cream maker.. It is very well maintained, beatiful hardwoods, nice furniture comfortable beds. Tom's creek falls are very close to this rental, they are gorgeous to see and its not a strenuous walk but i nice walk back to them. You do have to hike up a little but its not bad at all, very well worth the trip. Very well maintained driveway, if you have a low car, this isnt a place for you, you might get hung up.
