we had a very good family reunion- we were very close to the entrance to the park - used our golden pass to get in the park and purchased the timed entrance from 9 to 2. we could easily get to downtown to eat and look around - one young female deer would come everyday and stay around to entertain us - the back bedroom was great for a young family - the upstairs bedroom was spacious - kitchen was good size for all to eat at one time
We enjoyed the location and easy access. However, when we arrived the trash cans were blown over and trash was on the ground around them. There was also an old screen door laying on the ground behind them. Not a good first impression when you pull into the drive. The inside of the cabin was spacious and clean. Upstairs bathroom was a bit tight, but usable. All in all we enjoyed our stay there.
Our group truly enjoyed the stay at the cabin. Extremely clean, great views and very close to the entrance of the national park. Easy check in and check out. Cabin fully stocked with everything you would need.
Highly recommended!
We had a great family escape to Estes this past weekend. The property was clean, easily accessible, and comfortable for my wife, myself, and our infant daughter. The location was great for easy access to town and nature while also being an easy escape back for us when the baby said exploring was done. Would be glad to return on future outings.

Pros- location to the park is fantastic and the views are great. The kitchen is nice and there are plenty of things there if you want to cook. Cons- the cabin is dated. There were no outlets that worked in the queen bedroom off of the kitchen. The bed upstairs in the owner suite is old and worn out. You will roll to the middle of the bed. The bathroom in the owner suite is small and the shower was dirty. Overall- my family was looking for a place to sleep, we didn’t spend a lot of time in the cabin. If you’re looking to use it as a place just to sleep, it works. If you’re looking to use it as a place to hang, not so much.

Wonderful Experience
The cabin was cozy and comfortably fit 8 people. It has an amazing views of the mountains and was the perfect distance from downtown Estes Park. We were even able to see some deer in the front yard. I would definitely recommend staying here to explore Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park.

Estes Park Vaca
Property is in an ideal location to downtown. Close to amenities that is true. However it would have been nice to be warned about all the crazy construction that made getting to and from the cabin a hassle. The property needs some updating/fixing of a few things. If you have small kiddos bring your own games. Cleanliness was mediocre. Everyone has a different version of clean but this was not my version. We did absolutely love all the wildlife we saw to include a bear, deer, and beavers. To sum up if you are fine with extra chores on vacation,(aside from taking out trash) in addition to being charged the cleaning fee this place will be for you. I should have asked what is included in the cleaning fee. Estes Park is a beautiful place to visit.
This was a great place to be near both the National park and the city of Estes. Older home but in clean and usable shape. Everything you need is there. The host of this home is extremely available and accommodating. Hopefully er will be back in the future. Also note that despite the government shut down we were able to get into the park and for FREE!!

Quick response for questions when asked The space allowed our family a place to spread out and the location near park entrance on West side of Estes is one of this properties best attributes
Great location - close to RMNP and Estes Park. Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms were also good. Upstairs showerhead was not really adjustable so not good for anyone over 5’3”. But downstairs shower was completely fine.
It's always a little anxiety when you rent a place. But Karine helped us through the process and was very responsive to me. I was grateful for her hospitality. The cabin was older but very appropriate for our needs. Beautiful area! We had a great time!
This place couldn’t be more perfect for our getaway. Had plenty of space for everyone. Had plenty of things to do if we stayed in and even left a list of things we could do in the town. I also loved how everything we needed was provided and even more. Such as pots, pans, washer and dryer to sunscreen. The house was located in a great area with amazing views. Had an amazing time here. Even saw a couple of wildlife right in the back and front yard!!
As in the title the location is everything! Right outside RMNP and minutes from downtown Estes! Close to anything you would want to do in Estes Park. Cabin had just about everything you would need for a vacation and the balcony off the master was one of our favorite spots. Only con's we had were the tv really needs replaced and the pool table could use a servicing for anyone who actually plays billiards and could use some new ping pong paddles. If cabin was updated, this could be a high dollar rental.
This was an awesome location to enjoy RMNP and Estes Park! We hiked a different trail every day and had fun playing mini golf, and riding the tram way and the mountain coaster! We had fun shopping and had some great bagels, crepes, smoothies and coffee! It was an amazing vacation and affirmed our goal of returning to Colorado!!
We enjoyed our stay very much and would happily stay again in the future.

Not welcoming
Property is poorly furnished, poorly stocked and dirty.
Walkway to front door had been washed out by rains days before leaving a dangerous, poorly lit path and the concrete by the front door covered with rocks and sand.
Property advertises as pet friendly but there is no where to put dogs without the neighbors complaining of barking or ‘charging’ when they are on a rope tied to a tree. Misleading and disappointing.
I can recommend the property as a good place for people with pets.
Also, I purchased the insurance to cover damages and then was charged for a problem with the doorbell. Not okay
My brother and I stayed here last year as well. It is the perfect stay for that cabin in the mountains feel. We plan on making this our annual vacation spot, we love it!

Great Family Get Away
Great for a family with teenagers! Close to RMNP and town.
Fun but a little love could make it so much better.
First the good - location, physical set
up of the house is nice. Property manager is very responsive. Gas grill is a plus.
Needs improvement - beds are terrible. They are worn out and broken down. Kitchen stove top cookware is worn out. Furniture in living room is pretty well shot.
The place is somewhat outdated which is fine. There is, however, a difference between outdated and worn out. The items that are worn-out could be easily replaced and make for a better experience for the traveler.
