We had an excellent stay! The house was very clean and kitchen well-stocked. The house was in a prime location for accessibility to RMNP and Estes Park. The highlight of our stay was when a herd of elk walked through the yard and we heard bugling!
We enjoyed our stay at the Elk Ridge Retreat. Initial access with the keypad was a bit of a challenge but we finally got it. The home was very comfortable. The back deck and hot tub was a bonus and one we used frequently. The extra toys and games for the kids were greatly appreciated. The neighborhood was nice and quite with deer, elk, and turkey wandering through. Easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown. A very good stay!
Great location for views of the mountains and lake. Enjoyed the little chipmunks running around the property. House was well stocked with kitchen supplies. Neighbors were quiet. Very relaxing. Would just suggest a few furniture replacements. A chair the living room was torn in the back and another chair was lumpy. Also a lamp shade in an upstairs was literally being held in place by tape
Great and accommodating house in a quiet neighborhood, but close to town. Deer, elk, wild turkeys…we had so much fun watching them move through the yard. We will likely return to stay here again.
This was a wonderful home with everything there you would need. It was very clean and easy to check in and out of. We made a lot of meals there so it was nice to have so many cooking items. The hot tub was wonderful also.
We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The house was perfect for our family of 6 plus grandma. The kids especially enjoyed all the toys, games, movies and the hot tub. We are looking forward to staying again in the near future.
Very clean and well appointed kitchen hot tub entertainments - well suited for families of all ages and access to Estes proper and it’s surrounding area
The location and view alone were worth it. Had life allowed, I would have been happy to stay more days. The property is kid centric which made it extremely easy for our first trip with our toddler. Plenty of activities and close to town for any necessary items.
My husband, dog, and I came to Estes Park to celebrate our honeymoon. We felt comfortable as soon as we walked in. There were so many amenities provided. This is one of the best rentals we’ve stayed in. Thank you to the owners for sharing their beautiful, cozy home with us. We’ll be back again!
We spent a windy and chilly long weekend celebrating my daughter’s birthday at this property. The house was perfect for this. Plenty of rooms. Quiet neighborhood. Great space for cooking together and playing games with nice views. Lots of turkeys and a few deer came to visit. Hot tub was a wonderful plus. We would love to come back.
We had a fantastic time in Estes Park! This is a huge house, just a few minutes drive to down town and a few more to Rocky Mountain NP. Our family of 5 had room to spread out and we enjoyed making meals in the large kitchen and eating out on the deck. It is an older home and many features are worn looking. The hot tub is wonderful after a long day of hiking in the park.

We just finished a five night stay at this property and enjoyed every minute. We found the house to be relaxing with a door to the hot tub right off the master bath. Listening to the wild life in the mornings was very relaxing. The view from the deck is amazing and we had a few deer right outside the house on a few days. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and there is also a ping pong table in the garage! Fun place! Thanks for the hospitality.
This was a trip for grandma, grandpa, aunt, mom, dad , a 3 year old and a 1 year old! Everything was amazing. We had more than enough space, the kitchen was well stocked, there were toys, books, baby gates etc and everything was cozy and comfy. My only complaints were that the 1 year old found anything and everything to get into and I couldn’t find any throw blankets and it was a bit chilly! Other than that this place is AMAZING!
