We loved staying here. We come to the area every MLK weekend and this is a great cabin to stay at. It was perfect for our 2 families and we loved that we could bring our dog. It has everything we needed and was very clean and cozy.
Comfortable, very clean, spacious home away from home with everything we needed. Very quiet and private, yet close to Whiteface, good restaurants and lots of fun activities.

We've stayed here a couple of times now and just love this house. The host is super welcoming and communicative and the house is clean and comfortable and conveniently located to all the high peaks in the area.

We’ve stayed here multiple times and enjoyed it every time. It’s a great location easy access to Lake Placid and the high peaks down in Keene Valley and Keen. Large space outside for the dogs to run. Cathy has always responded quickly if the need arise. Thank you Cathy!

We had a great stay at this property. We came to the mountains for 5 days to hike trails with our pups and we loved coming back and having a fire to warm up in front of. The cabin has everything you need to be comfortable and feel like you are at home.
We had a great time despite the rainy weather. We were close to everything we secluded. Cathy was great providing everything we needed. We would love to stay at this property again.
Great stay at a great property. Great location. The chalet is such a cozy get-a-way. This was our second stay and we loved it even more. Cathy is so responsive to questions and for assistance. We're already looking forward to next year. Thank you, Cathy!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway to this lovely property. The house was great and we were impressed with the attention to detail in the decor - so fitting for the area. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our grandsons loved playing outside in the spacious yard plus they had fun at the nearby conservation area. We would highly recommend this home and the area.
This was our second time staying at this lovely property. It is comfortable and has many amenities, such as the fire pit and picnic table, as well as Netflix for rainy days. It is a short walk to the town lake, and a short drive to Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid. Highly recommended.
We stayed here as a Christmas gift and traveled with grandparents, aunts, nieces and spouses. What a wonderful trip! Location was wonderful, we were able to go sightseeing and still have the “cabin in the woods feel” without being to far out. The decks, the dining room table were all used to an abundance for card games and chatting!

About the host
Hosted by Catherine Snow
I am an avid outdoors woman. The woods are my happy place. I have completed Ironman Lake Placid 5 times, multiple marathons and am an almost 46er. I am moving 30 minutes away to Lake Champlain but am keeping my Chalet as a get away for me and my family. I'll be happy to help you plan your trip depending on your goals.
Why they chose this property
You will love the location and peacefulness. From the door you can cross country ski, hike or trail run miles of secluded, beautiful trails through beaver ponds and small mountains! Walk down the hill and you're at Lake Eaton for skating, kayaking, canoeing and fishing. The park has a basketball hoop, baseball field, bar-b-que pits, swing set, picnic tables and pavilion.
You'll love the outdoor fireplace and deck with plenty of firewood at your disposal. The middle floor of the Chalet has a screened in porch and a wrap-around deck. There is another deck off the master bedroom on the 3rd floor.
