We've stayed in many VRBO and AirBNB rentals and this one was unusual. It appeared to be owner occupied as the owner's food, toiletries, and clothes were all in the home. There is not a king size bed as described, but instead a full mattress and box spring on the floor. All of the bathroom sinks contained river rocks which was unexpected. These are things a potential future renter may want to be aware of. Parking was great and the neighborhood safe and quiet.

Hi there! I am currently taking care of my disabled father in Bellingham. I thought this would be the perfect time to use Vrbo. Although some of my clothing items are there you’d have to snoop to find them. Closets are empty bathroom toiletries are for guests although the review is making me second guess my thoughtfulness. Same with food - I bought cookies for the holidays and left them with a note. Frozen rice ice or anything I think was left in the freezer by another guest and can still be eaten - i do not waste and leave a note for the next guest - you can eat or toss at your own will.

Why they chose this property

I love the quiet town feel. Traffic and noise is distant. But we can still easily access the wonderful North cascades or head into either city.

What makes this property unique

I am an artist by heart and my house reflects that. There is a lot of color and creativity. The river rocks in the sinks … are handpicked, professionally, tumbled and polished. The sink and faucet work just the same. it’s an art piece - not for everyone I guess.
