About this property
Autumn is Upon Us Reserve your White Mtn. Escape
Autumn has arrived so now it’s time for romantic weekend get-a-ways to apple orchards, mountain drives in the fantastic foliage and some restful time getting back together. This centrally located, yet secluded and secure romantic escape cabin, is the perfect place to surprise someone special with a weekend in the White Mountains. Grab a hike to one of the beautiful waterfalls, enjoy the local specialty shops for that little something to remind you of your time here and make a special time of it for each other. This cabin was built just for that by its owners. It is called the "happy cabin" and is a perfect place to sneak away and rekindle some romance with someone special. This is special for that and so the owners allow only two people so they can enjoy each other. No children, no pets. Most everything is supplied short of food. All linens, cookware, etc. is on site so you don't need to bring anything except yourselves, your clothes, food and drink. There are even games for two and I was told to mention Rock'em Sock'em Robots which is among them.
This is perfect for those that enjoy the warm Autumn season and midweek days are highly recommended as this is a fall season tourist mecca and tends to get very crowded over the weekends. Treat yourself to some quieter midweek days and ask Danielle the secrets of the White Mountains beauty: where to go, where to eat and directions to local favorites…maybe even where to spot a moose.

Truly an amazing place. We loved everything about the cabin! The hosts are amazing and go above beyond to make sure you have a good trip. The location is perfect for skiing and restaurants. Can’t wait to go back!
Loved every moment! Cabin is very cozy. Perfect for a couples getaway. Beautiful decor and breathtaking views. Stone fireplace and mantel were perfect. Would love to visit again!
This is a lovely spot to stay, especially in October. Walking into the cabin feels like getting a hug. We enjoyed our stay there very much. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing get away.
Great cottage and host . Great views of mountain and sunrise / sunset. Perfect spot to stay if you want some privacy. Close to Kangamangus hiking , lost river gorge and downton Woodstock and downtown Lincoln.

Daniel was a joy to host. He left my cabin spotless and communication was easy. I would definitely host them again!
This cabin was secluded and quiet, while also being a short drive into town amenities. The property was well kept, had everything we could need, and was clean and comfortable. A wonderful weekend away spent here!
Great property as advertised host was very nice and attentive snowed the night before we left and her husband went above and beyond cleaning the snow even cleaned our vehicle will definitely book again when possible
Had a great time at the cabin! Great location very quiet but not to far away from stuff to do. Danielle was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely love to book again!!!!!
My wife and I stayed here for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We wanted a place where we could get away from our normal busy life schedules. We found it here in this nice, clean, quiet and comfy cabin. We enjoyed all the comforts and amenities they have to offer. We will definitely come back again sometime. It's a great getaway for 2.
The property manager was very accommodating/thoughtful, the cabin was immaculate, well decorated, everything was operational. We could hear the highway (hwy 93), but it was BIKE WEEK. The weather was not what we thought it was going to be but spending a day lounging inside the cabin was pleasant.

David was a great guest. Communication was easy and he left my home in great shape. I would definitely rent to them again!
Owner was great with communication. We had a major snowstorm and they plowed us out along with cleaning off my truck! The only issue is that there is no place to store your clothes. It would be nice to have hooks in the bathroom. Great location and very clean , highly recommended.
Great place to go off the beaten path for relaxation and quiet. The hosstess was amazing. Very clean. The fireplace was super romantic. My husband and i enjoyed ourselves very much. 5 stars. The one thing that would have put it over the top would have been a hot tub facing the mountains. Even still a great place for sure.
Clean appropriately decorated for season.Needs pot holders and spatula. Had to contact owner because of kitchen incident but they were friendly and not upset about my kitchen abilities.
My fiancé and I had a wonderful time here over the Christmas weekend. It was beautifully decorated and super clean and cozy! The owner went above and beyond. Couldn't ask for a better space to celebrate, we'll definitely be staying here again :).
