Our family stay at your lovely home was a highlight of our year! The house was larger than we anticipated with room for relaxing, games, cooking, napping and conversation. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, living areas both indoors and out and your tennis court and basketball court! And then there were the views- spectacular! We sincerely hope we are able to come again someday. Thank you!
This location is the perfect getaway from the chaos! Nestled in the hillside, the views are fabulous and the layout was great for three couples. Would stay again!
We loved this house, communication was outstanding, lots of fun for the kids, and beautiful outdoor and indoor spaces!

We are so glad you and your family enjoyed your stay. We agree it is a fun property for all ages. It was a pleasure having you and we'd welcome you back again.
We couldn't have asked for a better home for our time in wine country. The house was absolutely amazing and had everything we needed, with so many areas inside and outside to enjoy, relax, or just hang out. The view alone was worth the stay—how can you beat having your own vineyard overlooking the whole valley? Every time of day offered a new and mesmerizing view. I can't recommend this place enough; we know we'll be back in the area and will definitely be booking again.
This house had gorgeous views of the valley. We spent a huge amount of our time on the deck enjoying the breeze and views. It is a working vineyard so there are people around sometimes, but the host communicated well about times they could be in the area. The house was very comfortable with lots of room for our family reunion to spread out. Good communication--would recommend.
We loved staying here. We spent two lovely days enjoying the view, the grounds, and the beautiful house. It is a bit of a drive up a winding mountain road but well worth it when you get there. It is about a half hour drive to Petaluma, which is an adorable town filled with shops and restaurants. Highly recommend a stay at this home!
This property was absolutely stunning. The view is second to none. The house is well kept and has everything you could need for a visit to wine country. Once we returned from the wineries each day, we didn't want to leave. It is a special place and we hope to return soon.

Stunning views in wine country
Amazing! This property and the views it has to offer are absolutely breathtaking. In addition, we could not have asked for a more accommodating host. If you're heading to Sonoma County this is the place for you!

Hi Mary,
We are so glad you enjoyed your visit at Vista Ridge! We look forward to your future return!
The property was even more beautiful in person with stunning views that can't be adequately captured on camera. The house is very roomy with many cozy spaces for our group to relax and catch up. There were even toys for our kids. They also very much enjoyed the neighborhood dogs and cat and picking beautiful wild flowers around the property. Hosts were super responsive and hospitable.

Brenda, thank you for your wonderful review! We truly enjoyed having you and your family stay at Vista Ridge. Yes, the fog rolling in the evenings is an amazing site to see. We look forward to your future return!
Our family of adult siblings had the opportunity to stay on this Sonoma hilltop property with sweeping views over vineyards and beyond. The owners provided a kitchen full of all the necessary cookware for people who love to cook. The rooms were cosy with great linens and furniture. They checked in with us to see how all was going. We felt very well accommodated for this holiday weekend.
This rustic house was a charming home base for a "wine weekend" for six ladies in their early 40's. We saw deer and wild turkeys, and enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for us all. We had a driver come to the house one day to take us on a wine tour in the Santa Rosa area, which was an exceptional experience.
This beautiful home looking out over Sonoma Valley was extraordinary. The landscaping provided many places to sit an enjoy the awesome views. The quality and craftsmanship of the home was evident throughout with all the necessities necessary for a very enjoyable stay. We especially loved the Bocce ball court and the home theatre! This home is highly recommended!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and loved the home & property as much as we do. You were tremendous guests and we would happily welcome you back. We've added several photos to capture the views and the details of the house, but feel it's one of those places that is even better in person.
Our group of 8 adults stayed for two nights to attend Sonoma State graduation. The house was the perfect “home base” for the weekend. It was such a beautiful and relaxing spot, yet still very close to campus, stores and restaurants. We loved all being able to hang together and visit, in between graduation events. Watching the stunning sunset from the deck on our first night was a highlight. Our graduate is staying in Sonoma, so we’ll be back again soon!
We were a group of women friends in their 50’s rented this property for a mini high school reunion. The home was a lovely A frame - very clean, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, fabulous deck to watch the sunset. We didn’t even get to use the pizza oven, play bocce ball or tennis, will have to come back for that! Owners were very responsive, even left a bottle of champagne for us and offered late checkout. I would one hundred percent recommend this property!
I am obsessed with this home and will definitely be coming back. The photos can't do it justice because the views are 100x more beautiful in real life. Chelsea and Brett were beyond communicative (and so kind!) regarding check-in, house info, and other questions my group had. The house is exceptionally clean, especially compared to other rentals I've had in the past. You can tell they really care about and maintain this property well! We ended up staying in the house for full days instead of going into town just because of how lovely it was. Especially with the tennis court and bocce ball, we were never bored. 10/10, so sad I don't live there.
We spent a long weekend here for my husband's 60th Birthday with our favorite people. We could not have been more pleased! The pictures only give you a hint of what is to come. The home is well appointed and has everything you might need. We cooked two great dinners and weren't lacking a thing! The home is very spacious but let me tell you....You will want to be outside! The five acres have been masterfully thought out (somewhere along the line) and it is welcoming, warm, inviting and begs you to come explore! From the winding drive, stone knee-high walls, rows and rows of grape vines, olive groves, wild turkeys, winding pathways....it pulls you. You have to play some Bocce Ball. If you don't know how...Google it! It is for everyone. AND....walk up the hill to the single chair and take a seat for a bit. That is the best view. I wish I could post it. We will be back, that is certain!
It was an amazing spot in Sonoma with a beautiful view.
The hosts were very helpful and the house had everything we needed. We played tennis and bocce and spent a lot of time on the large deck overlooking the valley.

We are parents to a toddler boy who provides us with much joy, and a few headaches too! We love get-a-way weeks and weekends and wanted to offer something with absolutely breathtaking views...so here we are!
Why they chose this property
The views, the relaxation, retreat, waking up on a vineyard, wildlife, amazing A-frame architecture. Fun with friends, family, or just an epically romantic couples get-a-way. The views. The views. It's really worth repeating.
What makes this property unique
Your time at Pepperwood Ridge Vineyard will be super relaxing. You can lounge and take in the view, play tennis or bocce, or just netflix and chill all day - we don't judge! The property is somewhat remote, so you will really just want to settle in and enjoy your time at the top of the mountain. It's a really special place any time of year.
