Westport Point House - Walk onto the Beach

Cote' de La Mer is located in Westport Point only a short walk from the area's best beaches. Avoid the crowds and traffic of Cape Cod and discover the beautiful beach town of Westport, Massachusetts. The area offers many things to do or you can choose to grill on the back porch and read a book on a lounge chair, it's up to you.

After a day at the beach, rinse off in the heated outdoor shower and walk two minutes to one of the best restaurants in Westport the Back Eddy. Westport offers quaint coffee and ice cream shops, a variety of great restaurants like The Westporter, The Bayside, Ten Cousins Brick Oven, Bittersweet Farm, and The Cask and Pig. If a local cocktail is on your list of things to do, visit Buzzard's Bay Brewery and the Westport River Vineyard and Winery both only a few miles away.

Looking for adventure, grab a kayak out of the shed and head to the Westport River only a 2 minute walk from the house. The river is also an excellent place to paddle board and fish. Be sure to walk/hike the more than 2 miles of breathtaking beach and take advantage of the new bike paths only .2 miles away. When the surf is up, join the locals at the best surf spot in the area located at the end of our street.

Take the 10 minute drive to nearby Adamsville, RI and have breakfast at our favorite The Barn or visit Ground Swell Cafe and Bakery in nearby Tiverton, RI for locally roasted coffee and European inspired pastries before taking a drive through stunning Little Compton.

For a day trip, visit Newport, RI or take the ferry from nearby New Bedford to Martha's Vineyard. The Westport area also offers family activities like mini-golf, a driving range, bumper boats, bowling alley, outdoor go-kart race track, and a movie theater all within a short drive.

Cote' de La Mer offers 3 bedrooms and 1 and 1/2 baths, 60 inch TV with cable that is Netflix ready, a grill on the back deck, off-street parking, and free beach access within walking distance. Beach chairs, towels, and kayaks are all available to you. I hope that you enjoy the house as much as we do!

Available weekly during July and August with check in and check out on Saturday. Two night minimum stay the rest of the year.

Great Vacation Home

Great home in Westport, just down the street from the Back Eddy restaurant. Beach was a short walk as well. Great amenities - kayaks, beach chairs, beach towels - included in the rental!

Cozy little beach house

We stayed in Westport on a cold, rainy weekend in September and appreciated having a clean, warm, cozy house rental. My kids (2.5 & 7) loved playing with the games & books in the loft upstairs. Despite the weather we walked the 2 min to the beach each day to collect shells and explore. A great beach house for summer or colder off season!

Hidden gem

We love Westport & we love this rental for allowing us to be so close to all of our favorite things including Baker’s beach, Gooseberry Island, The Back Eddy, Westport Sea Farms & more. The house was gorgeous and offered us more than enough space inside and out. Everything was clean and updated! We enjoyed having a washer & dryer available too since we stayed for a while. Thanks Jason, we’ll be back!
