Family in the high castle

The home is situated atop a nice hill with privacy and beauty. There are flowers growing outside the property that give a welcoming aroma! The home was cozy and perfect for my family of 5 with little kids. It would maybe not be as suited for people who “need” their own space but it was fun to have a big slumber party with the kids. Definitely would book again

Quiet Space in Pasadena

Joseph was a very friendly and organized host. The space was quiet, private, and fully remodeled. The neighborhood was very convenient to both Pasadena and Eagle Rock/Highland Park. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Great Location. Perfect Space.

Nice amenities. Everything needed for a relaxing stay. So close to so much including a great coffee shop (.6mi walk). Owner is a great communicator, always replying quickly. We will definitly be staying here again. Note: this unit is the lower level, owners live upstairs. You may hear the pitter-patter of their 5-year olds feet. To us, it was music to our ears. :)

First class accommodations in Pasadena

Very easy and clear communication with the host. Stayed here for 5 weeks while working in LA. Location is perfect- quiet neighborhood of single family homes in Pasadena and easy access to Old Town Pasadena and surprisingly quick to places like Silver Lake and Los Feliz. The accommodations are an ADR created in the bottom floor of the host’s home. Everything is literally brand new - very comfortable bed, modern full kitchen, full size washer and dryer, good heating and AC. Big TV. Excellent wifi for my work - never had any issues with my vpn, video conferencing, etc. Access to the jacuzzi in the backyard is a special treat. Would definitely stay here again.

Thanks for your wonderful review and thank you even more for respecting our house. For clarification, there were over 50,000$ worth of isolation methods installed into this unit to make it separate from the main house. We had our general contractor research the latest and best methods for this which included consultations with sound isolation specialists. We believe that since it is excavated into the mountain side it is uniquely separate and private from the main house. Like yourself and others before. people are often surprised how the pictures do not do this place justice.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay greatly! The apartment was comfortable, well-equipped and located, and our host Joseph was genial and attentive. We’d rent here again with no reservations and highly recommend the property!
