Summary:

This two bedroom/two bath home is located on the highly desirable Isle of Palms in Charleston, South Carolina. Isle of Palms is an island roughly 15 minutes from downtown Charleston and only a couple of minutes from Sullivans Island which is another award winning beach town. Isle of Palms is a fun, family friendly island which features restaurants, golf courses, tennis courts, shops, beach bars, a grocery store, and amazing views! Unless you want to go to downtown Charleston and explore, there is no reason to leave the island.



The Space:

400 Palm is the quintessential beach bungalow featuring a fenced in backyard, screened in porch, outside shower, and two full bathrooms. Have all of the essentials you're used to at home including a gas grill, cookware, silverware, dishwasher, washer + dryer, internet, as well as comfortable furniture and two large beds (king and a queen). Each bedroom has a Roku TV that can be used with any of the streaming apps you have, the TV in the living room has basic cable.

No need to leave your furry family member at home as this house is pet friendly with a fenced in backyard.

We do have 4 beach chairs at this property available for your use.

-Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds.

*The building out back is just a shed.

Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide one bar of soap per bathroom, one small shampoo per bathroom, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel and hand towel per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels or chairs.

Getting Around:

The Isle of Palms is a 7-mile-long barrier island in South Carolina, located approximately 12–15 miles east of downtown Charleston and accessed via the Isle of Palms Connector (SC-517) from Mount Pleasant. Situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, it is known for its 6 miles of white sandy beaches, residential community, and the Wild Dunes Resort.

Fantastic beach house. Clean and convenient. Two minute walk to beach. Robert was fantastic when we hit a small glinch and resolved it within an hour on Sunday morning, of all times. Highly recommend.

This place was great! Nice beach bungalow. Had all the things my family of 4 needed for a week enjoying baseball at Shipyard Park, and the beach. The walk was short and honestly safe with my youngest to the beach. Had everything you needed for the beach, chairs, and umbrellas. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook and make coffee. The bedrooms were spacious and quiet at night. I highly recommend staying here for any trips to Isle of Palms, SC.

Our stay at this property was very positive and smooth. Everything was as described, but the property was a little older than expected. The beach walk involved, a busy street with no real sidewalk, which made it tricky but overall it’s reasonably priced and in close proximity to the beach and restaurants. It did the trick for us, and the host was helpful when needed!

Very close to the beach. Was literally lA 5 min walk. Place was extremely clean. Well stocked kitchen that was easy to cook in. The screened in porch was amazing too. Only problem was not even the house it was for a short time you have to walk of isle of palm blvd to the beach which is a fairly busy rd with no side walk and cars driving about 35 mph. We were walking with small kids so it was a little scary but older children would be fine. We loved this house

We thought the house was nice and private but in a perfect spot to enjoy Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, Charleston and Mt Pleasant. Besides the beach there was a nice place close by to watch the sunset. We loved the screened back porch and fenced yard. Overall nice kitchen appliances and nice living room. Worked well for our family of 3 and our dog. Comfortable bedrooms. Having 2 bathrooms was a plus. Had everything we needed for our week stay. Robert was easy to work with and we thought it was great he knew of our small hometown. We would recommend staying here.

I just wanna say that this was one of the best places that we have stayed at. very close to the beach. house was very clean , kitchen looked brand new nice appliances, 2 very nice bathrooms, which were nice to have. The host was very accommodating right from the beginning. We were only there a short time. But our stay was wonderful. The weather also turned out to be nice. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay this past week. The dogs loved it was nice to be able to let the dogs out to play & not worry about their safety!! We would stay again for sure. Wished there were more options as far as cookware & would like to see the back yard maintained a little better. Our blonde lab Maggie loved it we called it the jungle. She had a ball running around out there. Otherwise we loved it!!!
