3 Blocks to beach. 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms - family spaces, kitchen & porches
Our home is a classic beach house just a short walk (3 blocks, 7 minutes) to the beach and boardwalk and near the trolley stop. Oakwood Street is a wide, open and private street; our lot is large, open parking (5+vehicles/grass is OK). Guests enjoy the expansive front porch and huge backyard deck. They tell us it feels like a home away from home.
We bought the home from the ex-mayor of Bethany who designed and built the home in the 1980's. We remodeled and expanded the house in 2019... It is known as "the cedar house".
Our house is ideal for family a summer beach vacation and non-summer get-away. Minimum age to rent is 25...this is a family home and family beach town. Please no senior week requests.
Our home is right near the beach and town yet still has a private, uncrowded atmosphere that makes for a wonderfully relaxing vacation.
Sheets and towels are not provided.
