"Hollywood" - Home away from home. Near LAX & Beaches

2 Guest MAX in Airbnb at all times. Violators are NOT tolerated, will immediately be removed.

Free street parking(street parking is tight, fyi) -OR- Rent a Parking Space for $25. Please decide before check in.

Good if you just need a place to sleep while you enjoy your time in California. Also good for relaxing & Netflix and Chill. The place is exactly how it is in the photos. VERY BASIC. I will never claim to be immaculate but the sheets and towels are washed and place cleaned per Airbnb guidelines. I wanted to help save you from paying so many fees and not charge you a cleaning fee. So I expect you and require for you to clean up after yourself. If you don't want to clean that's fine too, just let me know and I will charge you the $50 cleaning fee. There is no a/c, the property is older and well maintained. It do get cozy in the winter and hot in the summer.

Although the building is super quiet you are near a major boulevard. This place is in the city off a very busy big street. This is an apartment area so there is lots of movement, cars and action. This is a diverse, melting pot of a neighborhood. Understand this is an apartment and the walls are thin again WALLS are Thin you do have neighbors, so please be considerate as well. This is an apartment in the city so please expect city and apartment stuff.

Arrived at the location, door was visibly open. Trash was left from previous guests, bed was unmade and looked like guests just left. Dirty towels were left on the kitchen counters and bathroom counters. Just dirty and wasn’t reset before arrival of new guests. Had to clean up after others before settling in.

Good apartment but it just was a few things I seen the old toilet seat very disturbing. I also wish it was a better tv the small tv in the living room thats only tv at that. And last I didn’t understand charging me for a parking spot when there is absolutely no parking on the street. The apartment should come with a parking spot My opinion. Other than that everything else was fine .

Waiting on my refund

My daughter and I planned a girls trip to LA and booked this listing. Before our arrival I messaged the host twice - once several days before our stay to share our excitement, and once on check-in day to update the host that we were held up by our car rental company and we’re going to be late checking in. NO RESPONSE to either message. When we made it to the property, we followed the access instructions precisely to notify of our arrival and have the gate opened for us. No answer by the host, went straight to voicemail 4 times. My daughter and I were stuck outside with no way to access the property. Next, I found the hosts direct line through the VRBO app. NO ANSWER. I FOUND a second number for the host. OUT OF SERVICE. After what felt like forever attempting to access the unit I had already booked and paid for, i had no other choice but to report the incident to VRBO to request a refund, and scrambled to find a hotel nearby to get my daughter out of the cold. BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK and if you do, make sure the host is response to your messages and has a working contact number BEFORE you spend your money. PS. The voicemails I have left and the messages I had sent have yet to be responded to. It’s as if this host doesn’t even exist.
