About this property
Remodeled house w/garage and hot tub; quiet suburb, in town
Entire family friendly home. Cozy, centrally located, fully remodeled 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home. Minutes drive to the university, train station and shopping. Walk to the World Art Ice Championship or Creamer's Field Bird Sanctuary.
Has a fenced in backyard for little ones to run around in with no worry.
Enjoy our neighborhood moose - they wonder about all winter so chances are good you'll see them.
2020 update: there are 4 moose in our neighborhood this year.
Disclosure: There will be a hot tub installed in June/July 2022 that will not yet be available to guests. I am only advising this in case you do not want small kids on a property with a hot tub.

The house is open and inviting, has modern touches and is very comfortable. Only thing I would change is to remove the motor home in the front driveway. Otherwise excellent

We loved staying here! It is extremely clean, nice, and new. It had everything we needed and more and was very comfortable. We hope to stay here again someday!

About the host
Hosted by Emily
Emily was born in the village of Nulato on the Yukon River. Jim was born in Fairbanks. Together we have 4 boys. The rental property is a retirement investment and labor of love for both of us as we enjoy having guests from all over the world. Having a large family ourself, we noticed how great using short term rentals were for our family rather than getting several hotel rooms to accommodate. We wanted to ensure that large families or groups of friends had a similar money saving and comfortable alternative while they visited Fairbanks.
Why they chose this property
This property was a combination of luck and perfect timing. We live in the neighborhood, and watched as a contractor labored away doing a complete remodel of the property. We inquired about it in passing and took the dive upon it's completion. We love that it's close for ease of us taking turns to run over and clean between renters as well as snow removal and lawn care convenience (don't worry, we won't be mowing the lawn at 6m when occupied).
