We loved this house. Plenty of space for 4 friends for the weekend. We especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, plenty of extra blankets for snuggling, and options outside for seating. The hot tub was lovely as well, and the house was literally 15 minutes from downtown and 8 minutes from the grocery store. Wonderful stay!

It's wonderful to hear that the kitchen, cozy blankets, outdoor seating, and hot tub all contributed to a memorable weekend, and we're so glad the location worked perfectly for your needs. We'd absolutely love to have you back anytime, so please don't hesitate to reach out for your next getaway!
We had a wonderful stay at the Hillside hideaway. The only thing was getting there in the evening at dark. The driveway off the road is hidden and a steep turn down the hill. After navigating the driveway in the daytime, it was ok. It has wonderful deck space overlooking the mountains and valley and we enjoyed it every morning and evening.

Thank you so much for staying with us at Hillside Hideaway, and we're thrilled you enjoyed the stunning mountain and valley views from the deck! We really appreciate your feedback about the driveway. We understand that the steep turn and evening darkness can be tricky for first-time arrivals. We'll definitely look into ways to improve visibility and wayfinding for arriving guests. Your kind words about the deck space mean the world to us, and we hope you'll visit again soon to enjoy those beautiful mornings and evenings once more!
We had a great time at this cabin! The views were amazing, the amenities were perfect for our group of 7 girls, and we had plenty of space. Everyone said beds were very comfy and the couch was perfect for large groups. The driveway was easy to deal with and there is plenty of space to safely turn the car around.

Beautiful and well appointed property. We were so close to downtown Asheville and still had a secluded getaway with all the amenities you could ask for.
We would definitely stay here again.

Hey Rusty,
Thank you for the wonderful review of Hillside Hideaway. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the property's convenient location, amenities, and secluded ambiance. It's our pleasure to provide our guests with a comfortable and relaxing stay. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
Stay was great and snowy. Due to the super low temperatures, the bottom two rooms were very cold, but the upstairs stayed warm. Definitely recommend parking at the top of the drive as you are not getting out of the house if snow occurs.

Hello Lauren,
Thank you for your review, and we were happy to host you over one of the rare snow days in Asheville! We apologize to hear that the downstairs bedrooms were colder than preferred, and believe this may have been due to the ceiling HVAC registers needing to be opened up a bit. We will have our field team review this for future guests, and apologize again that it had an impact on your stay. We hope you otherwise enjoyed the great views and amenities that Hillside Hideaway has to offer, and hope to host you again in the future!
The house was an amazing mountain retreat that was only 10min from downtown Asheville! Beautiful views off the multi-layered porch, with a grill, hot tub, and stocked kitchen. Hosts were responsive and helpful! Highly recommended.
We enjoyed our stay here. House was beautiful and comfortable with amazing views. Close to downtown. We fit 6 of us comfortably. Outdoor decks are great to sit on and enjoy the views.

Hey Christian,
Thank you for the wonderful review of Hillside Hideaway. We are delighted to hear that your stay exceeded your expectations and that you were able to enjoy the natural beauty of the mountain vistas and local wildlife. Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
This is a beautiful property with gorgeous mountain views. There was plenty of room for our family of 7. We saw lots of wildlife during our stay, including deer and a mama bear with 4 cubs. This property was within an hours drive of most of the places we wanted to see and close to great restaurants in Asheville. We enjoyed the spacious deck, the beautiful fire pit, and our grandson enjoyed the toys provided. Our main disappointment was with the cleanliness of the property. There was dusty furniture, dirty floors and rugs, a bathtub full of spiders and webs, crumbs on furniture, and a dishwasher full of dishes upon our arrival. A cleaner was sent the next day, but we needed to clean some things ourselves in order to make the house livable in the meantime. Even after the second cleaning, the house was not as clean as other rentals we have stayed at in the past.

Hello Tonda,
Thank you for your review! We're thrilled your family enjoyed the mountain views, spacious deck, fire pit, and incredible wildlife sightings. Seeing a mama bear with four cubs is certainly unforgettable! It is also great to hear the location made exploring Asheville easy for your group. At the same time, we sincerely apologize that the initial cleanliness of the home fell below our cleaning standards. You should never have to clean up dishes, dust, or cobwebs upon arrival and we regret the inconvenience this caused on your first night. We sent housekeeping back out to the home the following day to address these missed items and replace the shower liner, and apologize again for any disruption this created. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us, and we appreciated hosting you in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Master shower needs re-caulking and the heating/ac unit in the master bedroom is a bit loud, but everything else about the property was top-notch. Especially enjoyed the fire table, the beautiful decor and of course the mountain views! A very comfortable and serene retreat.
