About this property

This updated and beautiful three bedroom home, with two-and-a-half bath, has everything you and your family or friends are looking for to make your vacation complete. Superior Stay will comfortably sleep 10 and is pet friendly. The large kitchen opens into the family room, which is perfect for entertaining, playing board games or puzzles, or just enjoying a quiet night about the gas fireplace. The screened-in porch is idyllic for enjoying the fresh breeze off of “the Big Lake” and taking in the peace, quiet and slower pace of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The large yard also comes with a gas barbecue and a fire pit to enjoy s’mores over. An attached two car garage is perfect for drying your gear out after a day of watersports during the summer or snowmobiling in the winter.

The Au Train area is surrounded by hundreds of acres of National Forest. Lake Superior's beautiful Au Train Beach is 1/2 mile away (an easy walk or bike ride), and there are many access points to the Au Train River nearby for kayaking or canoeing. Munising and the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore are a 20 minute drive away and Marquette is only 30 minutes away. There are hundreds of miles of mountain biking, ATV and snowmobile trails in the area as well as abundant winter sports such as ice climbing, skiing, and snowshoeing.

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a good location for seeing the Pictured Rocks and waterfalls. The AuTrain beach was wonderful! We did the Riptide Ride - very fun. We had delicious fish and chips at Cap’n Ron’s food truck.

Superior Stay was a great place to stay for our snowmobile trip. Roomy, comfortable, it was everything we needed. We had a great time! Close to the trails and gas. Plus, the store has great pasties and cookies and brownies!!

Perfect location

Perfect location between Munising and Marquette with access to snowmobile trails very close to house. Plenty of room for family/friends to enjoy time together. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything needed to make breakfast/lunch/dinner on site. Host was extremely easy to keep in contact with. driveway was plowed to accommodate two pickup trucks with 4 place trailers. Very much enjoyed our stay! JT

A great place to stay for a snowmobile trip.

The accommodations at this home are phenomenal for anyone looking to snowmobile in the Au Train area. The home was clean, well outfitted, and offered plenty of parking for two large tow rigs. Access to the garage was an added bonus. Gas was a block away and trail access was a couple blocks away from the home.
