Pictured Rocks Lodge 5 minutes from Munising! Recently remodeled!

This beautiful home was built by my father. Custom wood design with plenty of room for your entire family!
The master bedroom has it's own private balcony! The main level also has a deck. Full use home means you have everything you need from your washer and dryer to your pots and pans! You are just a few minutes away from Munising, which is famous for their pictured rock tours! Canoeing down the Au Train River is also something you won't want to miss out on! A great vacation spot with lots to do! I have board games and puzzles so you can have some family time together as well.

Sorry no AC, or TV. The 1500. deposit was pulled from our credit card 2 months ahead of our booking and was kept until 2 weeks after we checked out. Not pending pulled and paid, a total of 2 1/2 months. A little dusting, sweeping sand, and window cleaning would go a long way, other wise not bad. We were warned the road in was washed out before we checked in. Location is remote and area was quiet. It was warmer than usual in August a AC unit probably isn't needed all the time but it made it hard for us to sleep. Alot of nice features but not fully prepared as a rental.

Charming Log Home

We stayed in the cabin during our first visit in UP. Unfortunately, the weather was unusually hot. The cabin did not have AC, and the fans were not enough. The upper floor with the master bedroom was too hot to use. Most of window blinds in master bedroom were missing, and there were no blinds in living room, which made the sun shine in and make it even hotter. We were able to open only one window in living room and that did not create enough of a breeze. During a storm, 2 windows leaked rainwater and dripped on the floor. There was a mildew smell in the garage above the living room, with a stain that looked like mold. Both bedrooms were able to get cooler during night. Better fans or a small AC unit would have helped. The 1st floor shower drain was slow draining, but the cold water after 1 shower was good for the heat. Laundry from a previous stay was left damp in dryer. Overall, this cabin was not for us, especially during summer. The provided address was not in town but in the woods. Tricia was friendly and responded in timely manner. However, she did asked if we were willing to let her do a showing of the house but then rescheduled it. Not sure if that is the norm but we preferred not to participate in it.

Property was beautiful. The home was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The owner was very helpful and patient. If you're looking for an up north family get away, this place is great. I would stay again!

Pictured Rocks Summer Getaway

This stay was very relaxing. Had the opportunty to unplug, as there was noTV or wifi; just nature and the local attractions to take our time. The home was very clean and well equipted, the weather was perfect, and the stars were amazing. A wonderful four days to explore the national lakeshore and all it contains.

Hitting the Trails

3 couples came up for a relaxing and fun get away and to get our side by sides out on the trails. The house was equipped with everything you would enjoy at home. Plenty of space for 6 adults to enjoy an extended weekend! Would stay again! Host is extremely accommodating and quick to respond.

Very cozy and beautiful

Everything was great! The only thing we missed was having a TV. Get place to unplug and get away from city noise. You will enjoy!

vaca in the UP

property was secluded, and quiet. Yet, located within convenient distance for day trips to explore the UP. Property was clean, and well stocked with items that are generally not provided by other vrbo properties. Overall, staying at this property made our vacation even better.
