Magnificent water view of the Chesapeake Bay which is just feet away from the wrap around front porch. This home is the ultimate of tranquility and peace. This home features every amenity you'd expect in the City, but combined with a rustic feel of not... Unfortunately we do not have direct access to the water.

The place was very well-kept and the owner communicated quickly whenever we had questions. My friends and I had a great time there and really enjoyed the views!
Great stay for our three day regatta at Fishing Bay Yacht Club. Beautiful view, attractive property and Ryan was highly accommodating to our needs and made everything easy. We would definitely stay here again!
This house was perfect for us we had a great time! The view is amazing, the house had everything we needed and Ryan was super nice and helpful. Would definitely come back.
The home was absolutely lovely. Some of my family stayed here so we could have 2 houses close by as we got ready for my wedding. Host was easy to communicate with!
It's great to chill and just hang out in the property

Property was in great location and seemingly in good condition. However, the air conditioning did not work well never going below 75 and sometimes as warm as 85. Also, the water was not drinkable and tasted of a very high salt content. Ryan at first seemed easy to work with, but then was very unprofessional with his communication. We will not stay at this property again.
The house has a great view of the water in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Inside it had a nice open feel with plenty of room for meals with our family. We all felt the beds were very comfortable, also.
We were in town for a reunion with good friends and former neighbors. This cottage was perfect for our needs! Spacious and comfortable. Kitchen stocked with everything you might need. Great view of the river and a covered front porch to sit and enjoy it! Lovely area to walk around as well. Host very responsive! I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
This place is absolutely perfect for a family stay. The sunsets and views are fabulous. The porch is huge and is the perfect place to watch the sunset and feel the breeze off the water. The cottage is very spacious and extremely clean. If not having immediate access to the water isn’t a big deal to you then this is the perfect place. We had family staying in Whitestone so we drove over every morning and accessed the water there. We would definitely stay here again and are already planning to book next year!

Peaceful & serene cottage by the water
Our first visit to the area, we were there for the oyster festival. The home is in a beautiful convenient location and we enjoyed coffee on the front porch. Kitchen is well stocked with all the cookware & utensils a chef will need. Ryan communicates quickly and is a considerate host.
Bring your own bottled water and ice BEFORE checking in. We arrived after 8:00 and stores are not open late in Deltaville. The upstairs bedroom is an open loft so keep this in mind if you need more privacy beyond a first floor master.
We were drawn by the front porch. And we were not disappointed. During our stay, there were 2 rainy days. Instead of being cooped up inside, we read books and played games on the porch. It was like having an extra room. The kids ate breakfast out there each day watching birds, counting boats, drawing, whittling, and enjoying the view.
If you aren’t used to it, the high iron content makes the drinking water not taste great. Consider bringing your own drinking water.
A note: the “coffee pot” is a Keurig (bring K-cups, not grounds) and if tea is your drink, bring a tea kettle.
Over all, a great stay in a great house with a great quiet neighborhood, and a great view.
We stayed for 11 nights and my husband kept falling asleep on the front porch; how's that for quiet time!
Kitchen is well stocked with all the gadgets to cook anything. With our length of stay we were we needed to wash sheets, comforters and towels - this was easy with the nice big washer and dryer! The house is very unique with all the pine slats inside the house. Beds comfortable. Large bathrooms areas. Most mornings we saw a Great Blue Heron or Kingfisher hanging around the other properties docks. Even though the house in not directly on the water, the lot directly in front of the house is vacant and too small to build on so we had direct view of the river/bay area! The host Ryan was very good with communicating right back if we had any questions.
Great front porch, cozy interior. Good places to stroll & ride bikes. Met some friendly locals. Quiet at night. Nicely air-conditioned. Beds were comfortable. W/D worked fine. Lots of board games to choose from. Recommend attending a Deltaville Deltas baseball game.
Just some minor suggestions: Need a regular drip coffee pot (not Keurig). Need wastebasket upstairs. Front door lock was difficult to use and seemed loosely installed. Wasn’t completely clear in write-up that it’s actually a 2 bedroom (upstairs is large open loft-like space). More specific trash drop-off instructions would be good (hard to find the place, sign is very small).

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
The picture of the home is very deceitful, as a lot of the furniture on the front porch and inside the home is not there. The water was horrific, terrible stains in the toilet and smelled like rusted pennies. The sheets were not washed and there was a full load of towels in the washing machine, unwashed. We had to wash our own sheets before going to bed. There is mold all over one of the HVAC vents upstairs. The floors had not been vacuumed, as there was change on the floor in the living room and crumbs beside it. Upon calling the owner with the sheets not being cleaned, he was very attentive and polite but could not send anyone out there is correct any of the issues. The home is in a great location but be careful booking this home if you are looking for a nice, fresh clean place to stay.
