* WIFI (Starlink) for streaming on Roku TV. Cell service- not the strongest signal due to secluded location.

*No smoking of any kind permitted inside house or on deck. Immediate removal from premises w/o refund will occur. An add’l $250 ozone cleaning fee will be charged to sanitize the house.

*Roads to the cabin are STEEP gravel roads and can be tough to navigate in winter without the proper vehicle. 4-WHEEL/ALL-WHEEL DRIVE IS REQUIRED BETWEEN OCTOBER - MARCH AND DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER.

*Cell service is limited coming up the mountain. Follow your GPS map (maps will still work in offline mode even if you lose cell service on the way up).

*There is one camera on the exterior of the cabin for security and safety of our guests.

Wow!

My wife and I reserved this location for a Thanksgiving staycation/anniversary and it did not disappoint. Drive and scenery in the Luray, Stanley, and cabin location are incredible and breathtaking to say the least. Accommodations were as advertised and cozy/comfortable; family loved it. Thank you so much for everything!

Lovely stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It’s clean and comfortable. The location feels secluded but still is a quick drive to Luray. Note that some hikes are accessible close to the cabin, but the entrance to Shenandoah is about 40 min away.

Solitude and Peace at its best!

We had a lovely time at this rustic cabin way up the mountain. It was peaceful and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and caring. We loved using the fire pit and were provided with an ample supply of dry firewood. These are not luxury accommodations but suited us just fine.

Quiet mountains top cabin

This is a very nice property, shower is a little small and could use a shower head that is detachable. Other then that the place was clean and everything covered for your stay.

Mountain Getaway

What a wonderful property! We had a fantastic time hiking Shenandoah National Park and surrounding areas; the house became our home in such a short time. Clean, comfortable and so close to sooo many things to do! I highly recommend this beautiful mountain getaway!

I’ve lived all over the US, from east coast to west coast and back again ever since college (go HOKIES!) We LOVE to travel whether it’s in the US or around the world.

I am a customer experience consultant focused on creating positive experiences for users and Johnny is a licensed home inspector and master HVAC mechanic who has spent most of his life working on homes. 🏡

In our free time we love finding diamonds in the rough and renovating homes, visiting wineries (we got married at Rappahannock Cellars 🍷), hiking, exploring local towns, good eats, and all things VA has to offer.
