Located on the edge of a beautiful cove on Lake Sinclair, The Cove's End offers peace and quiet away from the hustle of the main lake. Relax on the dock, enjoy great fishing, or kayak in the cove to really take in the beauty of the surrounding nature during the day before you enjoy s'mores and star gazing by the fire in the evening.
Modeled after a ski chalet, this beautiful lake home offers an open floor plan, picturesque views, and enough space for everyone to sit back and relax.
The main floor includes the living room, fully equipped kitchen, main bedroom with king sized bed, a full bathroom, and laundry closet. Double doors open to the spacious and gated deck with a propane grill, outside dining, and adirondack chairs. Floor to ceiling windows provide an amazing view of the back yard and lake where you can spy on local wildlife such as otters or blue heron.
Upstairs includes two bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and the other with two full sized beds, as well as a full bathroom. Each room is fitted with luxury bedding and pillows and includes a smart television for streaming your favorite shows as well as spacious closets for you to store everything away during your stay. Wifi is also provided.
From the house, the backyard is quick ~100ft walk to the water's edge and dock. Enjoy the lakefront views while sitting on the swing or explore the wooded area next to the house (a favorite of our children!).
Of note, while Lake Sinclair is renowned as the cleanest lake in Georgia, our location at the end of the cove can mean that water depths will vary based on weather and the Army Corps of Engineers who control the local dam. When the water is lower or if heavy rains have just come through, the Georgia red clay which composes the bottom of the lake will make the water appear reddish brown.
What sets us apart from the other locations on Lake Sinclair? *A full-home water conditioner. We simply didn't love the way the hard water felt during showering or how it left spots on the dishes and we knew our guests wouldn't love it either. *Fiber Internet - Anything less is just too slow. We want the best for our guests! *Whole-property insect repellant treatments. While insects are just a reality when you're so close to the lake, we want to you to be able to enjoy your time inside and outside without being "bugged". The interior of the home is treated regularly and the entire property - from the mailbox to the dock - is treated to reduce mosquitoes. *A Firewood Shed - No one wants to pack and haul firewood on vacation, but everyone loves a good lakeside fire in the evenings. Firewood is provided throughout the year. *New in 2026 - Trash pick-up! We're officially one of the first homes in Lake Sinclair to have on-site trash pick-up - no more hauling your waste to the convenience center! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- House Rules: Accessibility: Check-In is at 4:00pm and Check-Out is at 11:00am. Guests are provided with a unique key code which is operational only throughout the booking period.
Waterfront: We want our guests to enjoy the lakeside and the provided kayaks. We only request that you ensure water safety and be gentle with the kayaks so that future guests can enjoy them. Life vests for children and adults are provided.
Security: Your safety, and the safety of the property, is at the top of our priorities. There are two security cameras on site. One faces the front driveway and the second faces the back yard amenities including the firewood shed and the kayaks. Neither faces the interior of the home, as your privacy is also one of our priorities. Interference or destruction of the security cameras will result in an immediate cancellation of your booking without refund.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We want to make sure that The Cove's End is a great fit for you group! Prior to accepting a booking, we require a guest list of all persons who will be at the home including names and ages as well as the age and breed of any dogs who will accompany your group. The person creating the reservation must be present at the home and verify that they have read the house rules above. When you book, please ensure that you include this information. If it is not received, the booking will not be completed until this information is received.
Additionally, we encourage you to message us with any questions you may have about the property or the surrounding area.
We look forward to helping you plan your next getaway!
BOATING: The dock at the Cove's End is available for you to dock a boat if you choose to bring or rent your own. If you choose to bring a boat, please let us know so that we can provide a map to safely navigate the shallow areas in the cove. Of note, as the water can be shallow, we do not recommend docking boats with a deep hull - pontoons and fishing boats do fine. As we traditionally simply enjoy the kayaks when we visit, we do not currently have a recommendation for a business that rents boats.
EVENTS NOTICE: While we would LOVE to host your wedding or other celebration, The Cove's End is simply not equipped for any additional guests above our home limit. The driveway of the home will only fit approximately 4-5 carefully parked cars and we do not allow street parking, nor is there any local area from which guests could be shuttled.

Why they chose this property
After searching for a place to getaway during the COVID-19 pandemic, our family stayed on Lake Sinclair and fell in love with the peace and tranquility that we enjoyed. After just a few days we decided to find our own little piece of this beauty to enjoy and share with other families looking to get away like we did.
