We had an amazing time exploring the Bold Coast and this property in Eastport was the perfect base camp. Very spacious, well appointed, and clean. The views are incredible. We did a lot of driving each day to various hiking trails & points of interest, so it was great to be walking distance from the restaurants for breakfast and dinner. There is some noise associated with being in the heart of it all (working waterfront with several active businesses) but every night it quieted down just as we were heading to bed and stayed quiet throughout the night. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others! Eastport is just so charming and we found everyone to be very welcoming.
Beyond the awesome Fourth of July weekend with front row seat to the fireworks from our balcony, we enjoyed the apartment immensely. We were comfortable and lacked nothing. Beds were great (we sleep separately for comfort)
We only wished the smart TV would also allow for regular programming over the air or cable. Perhaps we didn't really make an effort to get it since were were too busy with more interesting to do. The brewery downstairs was never a problem. They close at a reasonable hour and downtown at night is super quiet. Would highly recommend. We'll come again!
This sounds concerning. While I didn't personally stay in the apartment. I was particularly aware of the butcher block countertop, as its susceptibility to stains was only mentioned in the check-in information. It's surprising to hear about the message from Laura regarding a water stain on the kitchen table after checkout, stating that I would be responsible for the 250 refinishing cost of a table valued at 1200.Upon receiving photos of the alleged damage, I noticed existing wear and tear on the table, including a noticeable notch on the side. This suggested it wasn't a new table in pristine condition.Interestingly, a quick online search indicated that toothpaste can often remove water stains from tables. I tried this method, and within a few minutes, the water stain was gone. It was also notable that there was a flower on the table with a base roughly the same size as the stain.Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend taking detailed photos of all areas upon check-in to document the condition of the property.
Beautiful view and super clean apartment. Felt like your own home which is really nice. Photos and description accurate. Actually, photos don't do it justice. Breathtaking. We are seniors and had a hard time with the stairs. This is an older building and there are 22 stairs up to the apartment. A few things that would greatly help. Black out drapes in the bedrooms. Lots of light coming through with main street in the front and the harbor in the backside. The curtains match the decor and so cute but not functional. Flood lights all around the building.Eastport and surrounding area are wonderful.
This property is stunning with the views off the deck, Surrounded by water in the back, I had my morning tea out there and read a book. The sun is very strong off the water so you can can a sun burn. The location for fireworks is amazing. All in all this property is beautiful and you can tell a lot of love and care is there. Easy access to all the fun and frolic and the wine bar downstairs is wonderful
Can’t say enough great things about this property! First of all this was our 2nd stay! The place is extremely clean and spacious with lots of light. The kitchen is well stocked with the basics you need and beds/linens are super comfy. And the view of the harbor is simply spectacular, especially for sunrises/sunsets. Laura makes you feel at home and is super responsive. Bonus that there is a cozy wine bar, Phoenix Fine Wines and a brewery, Horn Run Brewing, right downstairs. Highly recommend this place! Thanks Laura!
My daughter and I had a wonderful time staying here, this was our 2nd time to the area. Laura's apartment was welcoming and comfortable. We enjoyed most of our meals and down time on the deck or just watching the sites out of the large windows.
We enjoyed, walking and driving all around Moose Island, hiked the state park, day tripped to Canada. By the time we left we were not sure what day it was, that's a perfect get away.
Thank you.

Spectacular Views of Eastport Harbor and the islands!
This beautifully appointed apartment in an old restored building exceeded our expectations. The apartment is bright, airy, has a huge, waterfront deck, and is thoughtfully decorated with a mixture of antiques and modern amenities. Laura, our host, welcomed us warmly and showed us around her great wine barm (also located in the building). There is also a nice little brew pub in the building. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.
The apartment is perfect, comfortable and very well decorated and very clean. It lacks absolutely nothing. We loved the terrace overlooking the port, with superb sunrises.
Everything is done on foot, restaurants, shops. Laura is an available and very welcoming host. Go visit her at her wine bar next door, it's very good. We had a wonderful holiday, we already want to go back...
The property was spacious and clean - large windows in living room/kitchen and porch that offer amazing views of the bay. Large, modern kitchen and bath. Good wifi! Beautiful place to work and relax. Laura was a wonderful host. We really enjoyed her new wine bar downstairs. Highly recommend!
Very well appointed condo overlooking Eastport harbor. Laura has done an amazing job with this renovation and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to returning.
This area is my home away from home and we had a memorable days long stay. Property is spacious and clean with everything that you could need to feel at home. Modern, nicely decorated, think farmhouse chic, with great finishes. The large deck was a great place to work, read and relax and that the view, well that never gets old, absolutely beautiful. The property owner was extremely nice and attentive and is quick to respond should you need to reach out to her. Absolute super host! Information about the property and the area are well organized and helpful. Location is perfect should you want to grab a bite/drink or if you wish to explore further afield. If looking for a place to stay Downeast, or even if it hasn't crossed your mind yet, I highly recommend staying here!
The apartment was spacious with a very modern kitchen and bathroom and has beautiful views over the bay. The wifi is fast, the water is hot, and the deck is wonderful. Cannot recommend enough!
The manager was so helpful with information and things to see. Our deck and apartment were beautiful. We met so many people that were kind on the pier and wanted to share their story. On two occasions the local fishermen handed us a pole to reel in a fish. The restaurants in town are nice and offer a spectacular view. But you can go down the street and purchase lobster and clams fresh off the boat! At the end of the day we visited old hookers bar and grill for a drink, newly opened kind people relocated from Lexington. The brewery downstairs was a must stop daily and offered a quiet patio of friendly people sharing stories while we overlooking the harbor. A sample of each is a must to make a hard decision. Thank you for sharing your goodness Eastport! Be well!
