KINGFISH LODGE - PRIVATE MAINTAINED 3 BEDROOM 2 BATHROOM PRIVATE RENTAL

Kingfish Lodges is one of our five, 3 Bedroom 2 Bath Private Rentals Owned by Paradise Outfitters LLC.

Our private rentals are conveniently located on Highway 23 half way between Mile Markers # 3 and # 4 in Venice, Louisiana - home to the World's Best Fishing! There is ample parking for boats and trailers and for a group and extended stays. Our private rental is simply superior - it includes all of the luxuries and comforts of home to maximize your enjoyment and pleasure while in Venice.

Our rental unit is a 3 Bedroom/2 Full Bathroom modular home with over 1300 square feet of living space and sleeps 8 guests, with each person having his/her own bed. It is nicely appointed and fully furnished. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, satellite television, outside deck, and barbeque pit.

It has an open floor plan which includes a large living room, dining, and kitchen combination and includes fishing photographs of past guests and their catch. The fully equipped kitchen that includes a Refrigerator, Range, Dishwasher, Microwave, Coffee Pot, and Toaster Oven. All of the pots, pans, dishware, and utensils are provided. There is a utility room that includes a washing machine and dryer.

The master bedroom includes a queen bed and twin bed, the second bedroom includes a bunk bed with a twin mattress up and a full mattress down, and the third bedroom includes 2 bunk beds, with twin mattresses up and full mattresses down. This Rental sleeps 8 guests with each person having his own bed. It has quality mattresses and linens for a good night's sleep. Towels are included too.

The Rental has satellite television, an attached wood deck with exterior tables & chairs and a barbeque pit for you to grill.

Kingfish Private Rental is located less than a 1/2 mile from Yellow Cotton Marina, and approximately 4 miles from Cypress Cove Marina and The Venice Marina. It does not have a fish cleaning or duck cleaning facility.

We recommend that you buy trip insurance through VRBO in case you choose to cancel due to weather, hurricanes, and/or family emergency.

All in all it was good. Stayed in different unit in same property last year which was better kept up. This years unit needed some repair to a shower and deck. Kitchen well stocked except for foil, plastic wrap and that kind of things. Minor things but could be easy improvements. Would still stay again.

This property is a great place to stay. We've booked it several times and it's always a great stay. It's CONVENIENT a short drive to the boat launch, a very good restaurant (CHANGES ) and a small bait shop that has what you need (WE DAT). When we come to Venice this is our first go to for a very nice place to stay with ample room for a family or friends down for a fishing trip. We'll be back very soon!!

MANY RULES AND SOME PROBLEMS

When we got there there had been some wind , so the outside door was stuck tight in the frame and took too men to get it undone. It was nearly impossible to close after that so we had to push in the top to keep it from blowing and slamming. the tv quit working the second day the light in the living room worked, but the fan didn't have a shut off pull so it was on or in reverse, if you wanted off it couldn't have the light on. The place just needed some maintanece.

Nice place to stay. The only downside was that the cooking utensils were put away dirty. Baking pans had icing from what appeared to be cinnamon rolls. Frying pans had grease and crumbles left in them. No drying towels for dishes. Otherwise it was clean, beds were comfortable, heat and air worked great. I would stay here again.
