The Wigeon Cabin is a large 2BR/2BA cabin featuring all the comforts of home
such as: pillow-top quality bedding, cable TV/DVD, free wireless internet, central A/C-heat, ceiling fans, (2)futons, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, double sink, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, dining table, washer & dryer, BBQ pit, large covered porch & more. Additional amenities include our covered pavilion featuring, fire pit, commercial fish fryers & boilers, BBQ pits, hoses for boat cleaning, & much more.
The property amenities also include our fish cleaning station on the canal, for easy fish & game cleaning;(and usually some up-close photo opportunities of the gators feeding on fish carcasses!) This cabin include pillow-top bedding, linens, towels, dishes, pots, pans, cookware, coffee pot with coffee & fixings, soap, shampoo, & washer detergents----(sleeps 7).

The cabin we stayed in was comfortable for 2 adults and 3 teenage boys and if needed was 3 more spots to sleep . It had basically just about everything you would need to cook 3 meals a day , bring your coffee cups but otherwise I found dishes, pots and pans , utensils and coffee pot and glasses, laundry detergent and etc In Venice La you either cook for a good meal or pay for over priced gas station food or marina food. Only thing to do down there is fish, drink , or wash dishes. Dollar General is the closest thing we found to a grocery store. We went to fish and there’s plenty of places for that. I would recommend this cabin for a place to sleep and shower for the price we paid I was very satisfied!!

I never received my code

Never received code to enter!! Forced to book somewhere else that cost us $275 more . Received a call from owner later but we had already moved all our stuff into other place that night. Owner apologized and Refunded my money back with no problem. Bought insurance for cancellation but wonder if it will cover the difference 🤷‍♂️💰

Widgeon Cabin

The cabin is roomy and and had all the amenities needed. The cabin wasn’t ready when we arrived 4 hours after check in. The couch was dirty with food crumbs and the towels smelled like they had been left in the washing machine for a week before drying. Nothing we couldn’t deal with but would rather have things go as planned. We will be back next year
