We had a wonderful time at Millers Lakehouse. The property was perfectly equipped and extremely comfortable for our large group. We’re already planning our next trip. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience.
We had an absolutely great weekend at Millers Lane cottage. We were greeted by a huge tree covered in pink blossoms and a lovely garden. The cottage was very clean and really pretty with a great kitchen and a gorgeous view of the water anywhere you were on the main floor! We would definitely recommend!
Great host, beautiful location, very clean and modern. Has a great family feel and open concept cottage. We were 10 people and it didn’t feel crowded at all. We brought our boat and what a nice location on Trent river. If you forget anything their is a cute little town minutes away, wood for the fire and delicious pizza delivery. The yard is pretty private with fences in either side. We had a couple questions for the owners while we were there and they got back to us within minutes. Highly recommended. Only suggestion, bring some board/yard games.
A beautiful, creative, decorated house. Decor details show great effort. Lots of patio chairs. Located in a residential community on the river. Three new, large TV's, but there were no TV signals in this area/community. No TV stations. Netflex yes, if you bring your Netflex password. Best town for stores, Campbellford, about 15 minutes away. Ms. Taylor very supportive before and after arriving. If you want to be away from the city, this is it.
4 of us recently stayed at Taylor’s property and had an enjoyable weekend. The property is situated at the end of a private road so it’s quite peaceful and not at all noisy. The property itself was spacious, with a fair amount of different spaces within the home. Our favourite feature was the outdoor spaces. With its multiple seating areas, it was the perfect mix for our group as some prefer roasting in the sun and others enjoy relaxing in the shade.
As no property is perfect there were a few things that were a miss for us. The lack of specific water amenities such as a canoe or kayak hinder exploring the surrounding waterways. Lastly, our group tend to have a high expectation regarding cleanliness and the property did miss on a few points. The garbage room had the previous tenants refuse which the property manager kindly explained was due to the time of bookings not coinciding with the town’s garbage drop off schedule. As much as I understand the reasoning, this did result in the smell from that space making its way into the home on a few of the warmer days.
Overall we had a relaxing time at Taylor’s property, as it is a wonderful place to unwind and reconnect with family. Taylor was a great communicator and responded promptly to each of my inquiries.
We rented this property for a short planning event for work. We were a small group of five and the house was perfect for our needs. The decor is gorgeous and had everything we needed. The only thing missing was the ability to explore the beautiful surroundings, but perhaps another time. Taylor and Kyle were super hosts. They checked in with us to make sure everything was going well and always answered any questions very promptly.
The cottage was beautiful! Beautiful panorama of the Trent River and spectacular sunsets
Although it was stated that there was no A/C and fans in every room, it was still very hot! Ideally, it would be perfect for people with a boat as you cannot go for walks around the area as the road is private. Also, unfortunately the dishwasher was not functioning and although the owners had a repairman to come fix it, it was out of order throughout all our stay! Also, the private kids’ park had a broken swing.
Regardless, we enjoyed the family time there and loved all the beautiful sunsets!
Thank you!
