RV/Snowmobile trail right out driveway to bring you in all directions in the great UP! Great cell service, internet, direct tv. Full kitchen for cooking meals and bar overlooking Lake so you can pour yourself a cocktail and watch the sunset🍻or warm up in the sauna after a day of winter activities(snowmobiling, skiing, ice fishing, fat tire biking)
Minutes from Lake Superior in Marquette, beautiful water falls and hiking trails in beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
May and June perfect for four wheeling and side by side riding! Bugs are low and mud is right!! Look us up off of trail 5. Huge parking area for any trailers. Owners are next door and have a garage for any assistance in breakdowns from motor, engine or any assistance! Has been a favorite😊

Great Place to Stay

Was there for a quick weekend trip in the area. The host was friendly, the location was quiet, and the lake is beautiful. The host offers use of a Sauna if requested. The location is right next to an ATV/Snowmobile trail if this is something you are looking to do. The host lives on the property, but you likely will not notice them as they keep to themselves. Would stay again.

Cozy Paradise

Our long weekend was fabulous, all the more so due to Mary’s warm welcome. The lake is lovely (we even got to watch the leaves change), the cabin is comfortable, well equipped with a touch of “up north” elegance. Using the sauna and rides on the pontoon boat were highlights of our stay, with plenty of room for all. We hope to go back soon and take better advantage of the excellent fishing in the lake. Really a 5 star winner all around. Thanks again Mary and Tim for sharing your little piece of paradise.

Fantastic week in the UP

This much needed week was a perfect getaway. The host was so accommodating. Mrs Hooper takes enjoyment from providing for her guests. Lighting the sauna and being helpful (letting our dog out), she went above and beyond. The property is wonderful, I watched a beautiful sunset over the lake, caught a large pike and jumped off the dock. The seclusion combined with its location relative to the area was perfect. Could not ask for more!

Best Place Ever

This was an overall great experience! The owners are wonderful, the location is spectacular for whatever you want to do (fishing, rock hunting, water falls). We docked our boat right at the cabin. The evening sunsets are beyond! I would highly recommend a stay at this wonderful cabin on Fish Lake!

Hi my name is Mary and I am married to Tim and we bought this little piece of heaven in the lovely Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We decided to move out into this cabin for 3 years and in 2016 we built a home next to this place and have been thinking about sharing it to people who could bring life back into it!! So excited to meet you all and will be here for any needs that may arrive. We have two dogs Sage and Axel who love people and will welcome you all. 😊
Our place is private and quiet. People that have stayed love it and we hope you will too. I am a retired nurse and love and miss seeing wonderful people enjoying life.

Why they chose this property

It is a cozy place and the views of the lake from the huge kitchen window or from one of the 3 decks. The all wood bunk house is so inviting and overlooks the lake with a wood heated sauna below. Alot of us Finnish families love our steam and jump into the lake.

What makes this property unique

We live on the ATV/ Snowmobile trails and Tim is a avid rider with excellent help and has guided others. We have a large garage if you need to work on any of your toys. Near water falls, hiking and biking trails. 20 miles from Marquette and Lake Superior and ski hills, also unique downtown area with great food. We have a full service gas station a mile down the road and a bar/restaurant 5 miles down US 41 and convenient store 10 mile for grocery pick up if needed.
