Al, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. It makes us happy to hear that you really enjoyed the Cabin and your trip to Crater Lake. Thanks for coming and for being great guests. :-)
Clean, beautiful house. Very tasteful decor. Good location - off the beaten path somewhat. Great house to use as base camp - for us - fishing. Good AC too. Liked the fact that the bedrooms all had big beds. No twins. All in all a first rate location at an affordable price,
This cabin feels like a new-build, it was spotless and the amenities are top notch. Would highly recommend this VRBO for up to 6 adults (max). The garage was a nice plus, along with the patio and indoor/propane fire pits. We did not have service at the cabin, and were happy with the internet speeds provided.
We had a great time staying at Summer’s cabin at La Pine. We had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. Our communication with Summer was also very smooth.

What a great trip! The house was clean and cozy. The owners had great communication and continued to check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was a perfect place to watch the snow fall. We will definitely return.
This cabin served as our "base camp" while we explored Crater Lake and the high desert. Summer was a very attentive host and we had a wonderful experience.

This cabin is wonderful. Really is in a forrest and very relaxing. Everything was very clean. We didn’t get to take advantage of all the fun stuff as we were visiting my sister down the road. Such as bikes and outdoor deck with fire pit. We will definetly be back.

Ryan, we are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We hope you are able to make it back. Thanks for being such great guests, we really appreciate it!
It was the perfect escape and place to celebrate mom’s 60th Birthday. The home was exceptionally clean and they provided so many nice amenities. The property is stunning especially with a layer of fresh snow. The neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed our nightly walks/runs. The home is very comfortable and decorated beautifully. We did not have a single issue. Everything you could need aside from food is provided for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The owners were extremely kind and very easy to communicate with. We could not recommend this property more and cannot wait to return in the future.
My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this cozy cabin for the weekend! We cooked most of our meals in the kitchen, which was stocked well and had beautiful updated appliances. The bathrooms were very nice and the newly installed heating system kept us plenty warm. I loved the rustic but modern decor and furniture in the cabin! You can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into creating a cozy cabin atmosphere. The cabin is located in a quaint community so we didn't feel isolated but were still able to be in touch with nature. The owner was very responsive and helpful. My only suggestion would be to add a small curtain to the window on the front door and above the kitchen sink for more privacy during the night.

About the host
Hosted by Summer Lazott
Hi! My name is Summer and my husband and I live in a small town near Portland, OR with our two young kids. We purchased this property in 2017 and designed and built the cabin over the next 3 years...doing the majority of the labor ourselves. My-in-laws are joint owners of the property. When we aren't working, or building something, we enjoy hiking, camping, sightseeing, taking the kids to the river, gardening, motorcycling, and spending time with family and friends.
Why they chose this property
We chose this property for our Cabin for it's beautiful Ponderosa Pine trees, and its proximity to the beautiful diversity that Central Oregon has to offer. Paulina Lake & Falls, the Big Obsidian Flow, Crater Lake, Lava Lands Visitor Center, Sunriver, La Pine State Park, Mount Bachelor, High Desert Museum, Wikiup Reservoir and the Twin Lakes and Cascade Lakes Highway, Fort Rock and the Ice Caves are some of the places you my like to explore.
What makes this property unique
This Cabin is built to uniquely capture the beauty of Central Oregon. For example, in the kitchen the Dark Green granite and Knotty Alder represent the Ponderosa trees, and the Stone backsplash and tile is reminiscent of the basalt/volcanic rock of Central Oregon. The 1.3 acre Wooded lot, makes for a peaceful, serene setting for your vacation.
