We stayed for two nights in February. the house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed the wood fireplace with the provided wood. The host responded quickly to questions. There were only two of us, so I can't say how it would work for a larger group. We would stay here again.
Very comfortable and well stocked home for our short stay. Best nights sleep we had in awhile!! Felt just like home. Easy check-in and check-out. Felt very safe and will definitely look to stay again when out in the area!
This was a great place for us to stay!! We were meeting our Granddaughter who lives in Minneapolis and we drove up from Grand Rapids, MI There was plenty of room for all of us!! Thank you so much!!
Nice house for what we needed it for. Temperature rules for the house were a little odd, especially since the bedrooms were upstairs and it got hot. Overall it was a nice stay.
Thank you for your care for the house this past weekend.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. We had plenty of room for 6 people. We especially liked that the fireplace was already set up. All we had to do was light! We would book again.
The property was as described and clean . Owners were easy to work with . I emailed a question I had and received an immediate response ! Would stay again …
House was as described and exactly what we were looking for. Lots of beds, clean and in the right area. Main areas are a little cozy but worked for us and are as listed. Communication with the host was good. Thanks for a nice stay.
My family and I stayed with a group of friends over the Presidents Day weekend. The house was ideally located between WhiteCap and Powderhorn ski areas. Nothing too fancy about the house, but it was very clean with some newer renovations that made our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend!
I was born in an exact miners house a block and a half away. It was amazing to see how well preserved and furnished this one is. Very smooth check in and out. It was great to see how beautiful Montreal is.
We had 8 guys stay and ride out of there. It was tight not sure i would want 10 guys in there.

Thanks for renting the house. It can be a bit tight for guys but hopefully you were able to get outside to enjoy the winter wonderland. And those bunk rooms bring back memories of when you were a kid.

Disliked: Communication
Said we would be emailed a code. While traveling there, tried to find a way to contact, which is really hard on VRBO site, but eventually messaged her but didn't get a response. Then searched for a number to contact VRBO - spent an hour on the phone with them, and then he told us, too, that he had been trying to reach them but they weren't responding. *Apparently something went wrong with the email that would have had the code, as we received it after returning it home.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Montreal, WI. This cozy little home exceeded expectations from cleanliness to the well stocked kitchen the experience was incredible. Communicating with the owners was easy. We highly recommend this property and will be back again for sure.

Thank you for the great review. We hope you are able to join us again soon
Had a great stay at the house like always. We have rented this place multiple times before and they keep up with improvements and cleanliness. Booked through VRBO but for some reason we were unable to get the info packet we needed but Peggy made sure she reached out to me and made sure we were all set. Thanks Again!
The property was clean and inviting; with the number of young children we had, it was wonderfully welcoming without having a bunch of unnecessary decor that would be tempting to little ones and their busy hands. The rooms were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The owners were extremely accommodating and friendly. Check in and check out were the easiest we've ever experienced and we're definitely looking forward to staying there again.

Why they chose this property
We bought this property in 1984 so our family could ski and snowboard in Big Snow country. We purchased a second property a few years later and our daughter now owns that. So when we are not using the property ourselves, we rent it out.
