Our hosts Gwen & Greg were so welcoming. Our view from the mountain was breathtaking! The bed was comfortable and the cabin felt very private and cozy. Seeing as we were way up the mountain, it was very quiet and peaceful, away from any traffic. We were about 11/2 hrs from Gatlinburg, TN and Waynesville was a very nice nearby town to visit just 15 minutes away.

great little spot

my mother and grandmother stayed in the nest and had a great time there. the views were beautiful and they really enjoyed having coffee on the deck in the morning. the hosts were super friendly and helpful and were quick to respond to any of our concerns and questions.

Apartment is immaculately taken care of and has everything you'd need to get away in the mountains. Great mountain views and peaceful quietness. Bed was comfortable and accommodations were great! Greg and Gwen were great hosts and lovely to talk to. Would definitely stay again.

Everything top notch and very friendly

we were greeted by owners Gwen and Greg upon our arrival and made very welcome. They showed us the property, explained everything needed and recommended places to visit and dine. The property is everything advertised and beautiful. Very close to anything needed in town and several attractions. Highly recommend!

Great place for a couple's getaway!!

Our stay at the Nest was wonderful! Greg and Gwen are friendly hosts and we enjoyed visiting with them (and meeting their dog). Their place is up in the mountains and is quite beautiful and peaceful. We hiked to a nearby waterfall and loved having our morning coffee on the deck. The Nest is a wonderful place for a couple's getaway!!

Great Getaway

Greg and Gwen were great hosts. Their place was definitely off the beaten path. I know how they came up with the name the nest, the views were spectacular. it was well worth the drive up the mountain to stay there. If you're looking for a relaxing weekend getaway this is the place to stay.

Amazing Experience

Enjoyed our stay in this cute super clean, bungalow. The private deck was so nice for reading and taking in the sounds of nature. Close to town and many hiking trails. Definitely will make it back to stay again. The host are amazing and have thought of everything.

Cute Mountain Apartment

This is a great little apartment above the garage. Perfect for a mountain getaway. Winding drive up to the location, fantastic view of Maggie Valley below. The hosts are a wonderful couple who are eager to make you comfortable.

This cozy studio is the perfect weekend getaway. Perfectly situated overlooking Maggie Valley. Peaceful and quiet. The finishes and furnishings help give the nest a cozy feel. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in the Mountains, this will exceed all expectations!

Fun cottage stay in Maggie Valley!

Communication with the owners was stellar! They are very nice folks and very welcoming. A hot tub was mentioned in the property listing but did not seem available for guest use as it was located on the owner's personal property. The Nest itself was very comfortable and clean! The view was spectacular, waking up to the sunrise over the mountains. Overall a lovely place to stay and would highly recommend!
