The Milk House at Nittany Meadow Farm

Stay on the farm! Enjoy the natural beauty of Nittany Meadow Farm during your stay in Centre County. Located minutes from State College and Penn State, this unique one-bedroom cottage was the original milk house at historic Nittany Meadow Farm. The cozy cottage offers a kitchen, 1 bathroom, a queen-size bed and living room. We can provide an air mattress in living room for 2 additional guests. During your stay, we’ll introduce you to our goats, who will beg you for treats and make you smile.

Nittany Meadow Farm is a working goat, beef and pig farm, and we live on the property in the main farmhouse, and also rent the three-bedroom Wagon Shed. We’re available if you need something or want to visit the animals!

The cottage is located on a working farm. Don't enter the barn without owners or pasture at any time. The pasture electric fence is live. Don't touch!
For the safety of our livestock, no pets are permitted on the farm property or in the cottage at any time.
No smoking or vaping is permitted anywhere on the farm. That includes outside areas in addition to inside the cottage and barn.

This was a great place to stay for PennState Move-in weekend. We loved all the amenities and enjoyed all the farm animals. The hosts were fantastic and responded promptly to all of our inquiries. Super relaxing property and appreciated the calm atmosphere. I appreciated the coffee maker, the pods, and all the creamers.

Second stay at the Milk House and won't be our last. Great place to unwind and chill but close to everything else you need. Super hosts and really a unique place to stay. Totally enjoyed our stay.

Loved staying in the milk house! It was incredibly clean and well stocked. My husband and I found our little getaway weekend super comfortable and relaxing. Exactly what we were looking for :). Would recommend the milk house to EVERYONE and would absolutely stay there again.

We absolutely loved staying at the Milk House. The house was very clean and comfortable. The setting was very peaceful and we enjoyed meeting all of the animals, Tara is a wonderful host. We will definitely be back!

Tara was welcoming and shared her slice of heaven with us, included us in the morning routine of feeding/caring for the animals, and allowed us the freedom to roam her grounds at our leisure. The MILK house was warm, inviting, had all the facilities, was clean and spacious.

Outstanding!

Perfect stay for the two of us. We had so much fun hanging out the the goats, chickens, cattle and the cutest little pigs. Hosts were great and house was clean and comfy.
