With 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 1 master living area, 1 outdoor screened in living area, a massive rec room, an ample kitchen, a walk in pantry, an inside dining area, and an outside dining area, Wolf Lake Retreat is ideal for up to 3 families. The area boasts great hiking and amazing waterfalls; the Blue Ridge Parkway is just 20 miles north; there is an outdoor fire pit; and 2 kayaks are provided. If you catch a rainy day, no worries. With the pool/ping pong table, a parlor area for chess or checkers, dozens of board games and puzzles, hundreds of books, video game systems, vinyl records, a DVD library, a poker table and chips, and covered porches, your entire group will be entertained. If you're looking for a stylish mountain retreat set in unspoiled nature, you would be hard pressed to find anything more on point!

A perfect family getaway

We were very happy with Wolf mountain retreat. It is very remote and quiet, which is what we wanted. The house is amazing - so huge! It had everything one would need for a great vacation. The lake is a beautiful mountain lake with very little activity. The Kayaks were fun, as was the fishing. We hope to go back when the weather is a little warmer. If booking, just know that you are far away from any sort of store/restaurant/life etc....prepare properly and it will be a perfect trip!

My 60th birthday!!

Had a great time and filled all five bedrooms with family. Hiked to the top of the road for our exercise!! Kayaking, swimming, we did all of it. We will be back.

Outstanding mountain home!

Our whole family loved our vacation at this beautiful large house. It had an amazing lake view, spacious kitchen and more than enough to entertain kids ages 6-16 both out on the lake and inside. We took hikes each day, kayaked, swam, enjoyed the decks, and played chess. Everything in the house was high quality including the beds. We would love to stay here again if we are ever in the area! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home and for the helpful communication before our stay.
