Quiet Lofted Studio at Tomboy Lodge

Want to be away from the fray of the downtown area of Telluride? Tomboy Studio is tucked away in a quiet part of town. With great views to the end of the valley from the deck, this cozy studio is perfect for a couple's getaway.. Soak in the complex hot tub after a day of hiking or skiing. You deserve it!

The home has a full bath, a full kitchen, and a lovely sitting area. If there are kids in the family, the living room sitting area can be used for sleeping. Please note, the access to the sleeping loft is via ladder. There are board games for the family or just a quick game of Yahtzee for the two of you.

Access to the Telluride Ski Area is a couple of blocks walk to the base of Lift 7. The main street bustle is a simple 6-8 minute walk to the east. The Palm Theatre is next door, and the main grocery store is a couple of blocks to the south. There is on-site parking, and a communal washer dryer is in the complex. BL #187

Accommodations in Telluride cancellation policy:

The first payment of 33% is due at the time of booking, and the second payment will be taken 30 days before your arrival. Cancellations received after the first payment is received may forfeit the entire deposit unless the property is rebooked for part or all of your dates booked. If the property is rebooked, the first payment will be returned in part or whole (depending on the amount of rebooked dates) less the cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is 10% of the total amount paid. Cancellations received within 30 days of arrival or after full payment has been received are non-refundable, unless the property is rebooked, in which case all or a partial amount paid will be returned less the cancellation fee. Keeping it simple

I wanted something close to the lifts - walking distance - with access to a hot tub and a parking spot. This cozy lofted studio met all the needs. Great place to just come back and relax in after a day on the slopes. Note that to access the bed you have to climb and angled ladder.

Simple Pleasures

Tomboy Lodge offered a quiet respite close to town. The main drag was easily walkable (or bikeable if you have your own wheels). I brought my bike and there was a bike rack conveniently located near the condo entrance. The condo itself was minimally decorated but well appointed. I didn't come to Telluride to hang out inside anyways! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and some pantry items. The bed was comfortable. There is no AC in this unit but there are fans available and the windows open to allow a fresh breeze. This is an excellent property for a single person or couple looking for an affordable place to stay in Telluride. It is not the most luxurious but it did feel homey during my time away from home.
