Lake Michigan - Private Waterfront Cottage

Classic 1940's knotty pine cottage with modern amenities on Lake Michigan. The cottage is set along several hundred feet of private shoreline with direct beach access and its own natural stream flowing through the property. The cottage was newly outfitted in 2021.

The home features 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, full kitchen, full size living room with a fireplace and custom casements windows that frame panoramic views of Lake Michigan. Outside there is a grill leading to a outdoor seating area to take in the natural beauty of the lake and surrounding nature. A few steps will lead you down to a beach where you can swim in the water, walk for miles, or hang on the beach.

The property is conveniently located 8 minutes from Northport, 10 minutes from Leland, 15 minutes from Suttons Bay, 30 minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor and 45 minutes from Traverse City. Enjoy easy access to all that Northern Michigan has to offer.

Lake Michigan Perfection

This Lake Michigan cottage provided a perfect hub for a beautiful week on Leelanau. The property was neat and clean with several obvious recent upgrades. Communication from the owners was outstanding. The beds were comfortable which, coupled with the soothing sounds of waves coming ashore, led to some of the best sleep we have had in some time. As nice as the cottage is, the beach area is equally amazing. The beautiful clear blue water and miles of wide sandy beach complete with all the beautiful stones (including Petoskies and blues) a person could want, makes it tough to find time to explore the numerous attractions Leelanau has to offer. Our only complaint was that the week seemed too short. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone. We certainly hope to return!

Peaceful Lakeside Cottage

We loved our stay at this 1930’s cottage on the lake. Waking up every day to the peaceful sounds of the waves and vivid colors of the trees was quite refreshing and a true escape from city life. We already miss the warm sunlight streaming in through the windows, the sounds of the birds every day, and walking along the beach. The owner Andrew was awesome, and reached out upon arrival to ensure we had what we needed. The beds and linens and towels are super comfortable. The living area has a gorgeous bay of open windows facing the lake. We loved the location in between Leland and Northport, and enjoyed getting to explore the north side of Leelanau county while hiking at the state park and many other trails. Gorgeous!! Thank you! Amazing location, lovely home

This really is a special property. Right on Lake Michigan, the sound of the surf coming through the window, the beach sandy and easily accessible. The cottage is larger than it looks in the photos (we thought), and the bathroom and beds are great. Very comfortable place to relax and enjoy the region. Would recommend highly and stay again if possible.
