The owners were very helpful and accommodating for our stay. The property is in a great location, with the beach just a short drive away, and downtown was also an easy drive. It was also super close and convenient for our UNCW visit, which was a huge plus!I left in a hurry and didn’t get a chance to fill out the guest book, but I wanted to mention a couple of places we really enjoyed. Molly Pitcher’s is very close by and definitely a must-try! We also went to Yeti’s Ice Cream, which was very good.We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property!
We enjoyed our stay at the Wilmington Surf Cottage! Great location to the beach and downtown Wilmington. The Cottage had everything we needed and more.
We had a seamless check in. Ana was very responsive. Our family had a wonderful vacation in a clean, family like atmosphere. We hope to go back someday!
We had an amazing stay at the owners family home! Plenty of room and amenities for a family of 5. 10 minutes to downtown and 10 minutes to Wrightsville beach you really can't beat it. There are several grocery stores close by and the neighborhood was perfect.

We went for my daughter’s 6th birthday and she had a blast! We loved that the home was stocked with books and board games. Great family trip we’ll always remember.

So glad to know you all enjoyed your stay!! Come back anytime!
We stayed here for UNCW orientation. Great close location to campus. House was very clean. Close distance to beach and downtown. Owners were very responsive and nice!
The property is a lot of fun and the layout of the home is great for hanging out in. We came as a family of 5 and everyone had plenty of space to sleep and play!
The location of the property is great as well, you're pretty much 10-15 minutes from anywhere you'd want to go in Wilmington (beach, downtown, etc)
What a fantastic place! Very clean and bright, and nicely appointed. Excellent and convenient location, could not ask for more. Ana was very good with communication and availability. We would definitely recommend.
It is about 1-1/2 miles from UNCW - which was perfect since we were visiting our son. The house was clean and had all the necessities! The backyard/deck was great to sit out and enjoy the morning with a cup of coffee and with the backyard lights, it was pretty sit outside at night!
I rented this property for family visiting me. It was a great property for a family with young kids. The kids enjoyed playing in the big backyard, picking blueberries, and sleeping in the bunk beds. The available travel crib came in handy for the infant, and the master bedroom closet was big enough to set up the crib in the closet. The outdoor shower was perfect for washing off after the beach. The central location in Wilmington made it easy to travel to the beach as well as downtown in a short drive. Ana responded quickly to any questions I had.
The heart of the house is the kitchen, mud room, and backyard. These rooms all function as a smooth operation: playcleanupeat. And the yard is fully enclosed (yay!) I gave four stars because photos could be updated (the place appeared sparsely furnished by the listing, but several pieces have been added). And I think the main bathroom off the kitchen needs some TLC (door knob was coming off, and the door wasn't opening unless you put some weight down on the door before pulling. My daughter got stuck, but so did I on two occasions. It's old and doesn't fit the frame well. And the tube lights stopped coming on our last two days unless we poked or turned them). Other things of note, the master bedroom is accessed THROUGH walking through the bunk bed room. Not a deal breaker, just good to know. We slept in the room off the kitchen so we could sneak out in the morning for a walk or read before the kids woke up. This means we traded the master to our infant who slept in the portable crib. This place is furnished more adequately than pictured. There is a couch and loveseat in the living room, an extra large armchair in the master, and a bench in the spare room. The back rooms' airflow feels a little sticky, but there are dehumidifiers provided and each room has a ceiling fan.The main bathroom started to make me grumpy towards the end, but overall a good stay for a family and anyone who wants to spend time outside! And lots of board games and toys in the mudroom cabinets!
