ENJOY TWIN PONDS WHILE EXPLORING MIDCOAST MAINE
Twin Ponds is a private home with a recently designed guest suite. Guests have access to Merrymeeting Bay, where six rivers converge in the quiet village of Bowdoinham, Maine. A local pub, a waterfront park with Sunday summer night concerts, and Saturday farmers' markets are standout features of our town. An outstanding fresh flower and vegetable farm stand resides adjacent to our property.
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION
I 295 access is 1/4 mile from our property, meaning you can easily launch Maine adventures in every direction.
Thirty minutes south is PORTLAND, a hub of culinary and cultural events.
Travel north to BAR HARBOR to visit our beautiful Acadia National Park.
In fifteen minutes you can be in BATH, the "City of Ships", home of Bath Iron Works and the historic Maine Maritime Museum.
BOOTHBAY HARBOR is 45 minutes up the coast. There, you'll discover the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Don't miss the Children's Garden which features Maine themed books with interactive activities that will entertain both young and older than young.
BRUNSWICK, home of Bowdoin College, is ten minutes from Twin Ponds. It offers many unique shopping opportunities, as well as dining options that will please all palates.
FREEPORT, home of the L L Bean flagship store and outlets galore, is 15 minutes away.

TWIN PONDS GUEST SUITE
A private entrance welcomes you into a sitting room/bedroom, which includes a queen size bed, couch, plenty of relaxing space, and a 42 inch flat screen television.
The second room in the suite, which is open to the sitting room/bedroom, includes a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, an electric stove, a small refrigerator and a coffee station. A cushioned banquette with dining table provide a comfortable spot for meals. A twin size studio couch provides an opportunity for a third guest.
A bathroom with shower is off the second room.
A small outdoor patio with a bistro table and chairs offers a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening cocktails and excellent bird watching.
Our guest suite has been furnished with hand-selected pottery, antiques, family favorites, local art, and special pieces of furniture handmade by the owner. We created this as a space where we, as the owners, would love to stay.
We're very proud that Twin Ponds is 100% energy self-sufficient with solar power and a geothermal heating and cooling system.
We'd love to share our Twin Ponds guest suite with you.
