Walking into the home, you are greeted with a spacious living room with 12 foot ceilings, natural light, and updated features including hardwood floors, granite countertops, and more. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect to make a delicious home-cooked meal. The dining table seats up to 10 guests and has additional bar stools for seating. The living room is perfect to unwind after a long beach day, and has a large flat-screen TV.
All four bedrooms are on the main level of the house. The expansive master suite (Bedroom #1) features a king size bed, private bathroom with soaking tub and separate custom-tiled standing shower, and a sitting area with two chairs to enjoy your morning coffee. The next two bedrooms (Bedrooms #2 and #3) contain one with a king bed and a full-over-full bunk bed, respectively, and both share a hallway bathroom. The fourth bedroom (Bedroom #4) has a king bed and private bathroom. It is located right off the kitchen and does house the stacked laundry.

We were very happy with this property. The only recommendation I would make is to add non slip adhesives to the shower in the bathrooms.

House is well set up for adults (3 bedrooms with king or queen), nice bathrooms, fenced yard and pet bowls, nice deck and outdoor table, putting green, bikes. One bedroom works well for kids (bunk w/ full on bottom and twin on top).Kitchen well-equipped with appliances, pans, basic tools. Bring your own seasonings (including salt & Pepper), olive oil, etc. if you plan to cook.We loved the location because you can walk to the beach and shopping strip, and are very close to the IOP connector if you want to go to Charleston or Mt. Pleasant.

We loved the layout of this house and how it was only a quarter of a mile walk to 21st Ave beach access. Nice clean house. It was our first time at SC beaches and would definitely come back. Enjoyed visiting Charleston and other neighboring areas.

We loved the accommodations. Perfect for our adult family of 6. Ample room. Only complaint would be that the tires on the bikes provided were flat and we couldn't find a pump. That being said we still had plenty to do. Would stay here again. Thank you.

You can’t beat this location. We felt close to everything. The bikes were a nice amenity and the living space is open and inviting. Very comfortable beds.

The house is very comfortable with a nice open floor plan. It easily accommodated my family which included 7 adults and 2 babies. It was a short walk to the beach. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay.
We are very happy this house was available for our family and our fur baby! The property’s location was perfect! Right next to coffee, liquor store, grocery and one of the local’s favorite restaurants! We rented a golf cart which made the three min walk to the beach even shorter. House was clean and comfortable.
It was very, very clean and everything that you said. It has a large fenced backyard for children. It even had some things I didn't expect. It was a short walk to the beach and I loved the shaded yard.

Good space, clean, nice and quiet neighborhood. Very quick walk 1 block away to a shopping center with a nice Harris Teeter, a coffee shop (didn't make it here) and some other stores. We rented an LSV to visit family but the beach seemed absolutely walkable if you can take the heat. Host is very quick to respond to questions.

This was a great house! The pictures didn’t even show the best part. The backyard has a cozy outside seating area with nice gas fire pit. The den is very open and spacious. The other great thing is that we slept like babies - the beds are super comfortable! We would definitely choose this house when staying in Isle of Palms again.

The house exceeded our expectations! We had 5 adults and 2 kids and plenty of space for everyone. Very comfortable beds with tons of pillows and extra blankets available. Really great access to beach. The only things that would make this place even better are at least one hairdryer and if the outdoor furniture were cleaned so they could be used. But these are small extras. The place is great and we would stay here again!

I rented the house for a friend’s wedding weekend and could not have been happier with our stay. The place was clean & we had plenty of space for the 8 of us that stayed there. It was conveniently located literally walking distance to the grocery store, restaurants, and the beach all within a 2-10 minute walk. There were a couple of hiccups with the front door not working properly & a segment of the couch being broken but we were able to get in touch with the property manager immediately and they fixed it for us and offered us a discount on the stay (which we’re still waiting on but I know it takes time for those things to clear!). Overall highly recommend!!

Great location, a few updates would make the house a home run
The house met our needs and the large common area was great for hanging out. There are a few areas of needed improvement like doors which don’t stay closed and creak when they open or close. Smoke alarm went off in the middle of our first night for no reason., so we deactivated it and Sweetgrass installed a new one the next day. They were very timely on responding. Kitchen supplies could be expanded to be able to cook more meals rather than go out. Most needed area of improvement is the backyard: the patio table was very dirty and the umbrella was falling apart, there were building supplies laying around the yard and while the yard was a nice size, there’s not much to do there. Outdoor shower was great for coming back from the beach. Outdoor grill would not start and we weren’t comfortable trying to start it manually.
Harris Teeter is an easy walk and there are restaurants next to which we enjoyed.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay but we feel like the property could be more versatile with a few improvements.

My family enjoyed our stay at the Ruffled Pelican! The home was tasteful decorated and had plenty of seating and bedrooms for larger families. The living room is large and has plenty of space to spread out. We loved that the home was only one floor since we had small children with us. Having three full bathrooms was also great. Walking distance to the beach and grocery store! And not too far to drive to Charleston. Quiet neighborhood. Overall we loved staying here!

Very nice property, a short walk to the beach. It was great for 6 adults with dogs, and could easily have a couple more adults if needed (we had two couples and two singles in four rooms). The house was clean, there was a good variety of kitchen tools provided and everything worked well.
We were even talking about coming back next year!
We had a great time at the ruffled pelican. Location was convenient, and it was a quicker walk to the beach than expected. Loved having the fenced backyard and the hammock.
WE had a wonderful time at Ruffled Pelican. House was perfect for a large family. Quick walk to beach. Great memories!
