About the host
Hosted by Jim Kunkel
I reside in Tahoe area now. I had a great career, and decided this was a great place to work from. Thus, it's well set up for an office or two for those that can't escape. I enjoy golfing, biking, rafting and fly-fishing...all things to do in this area and can share my toys to make for a more enjoyable, complete vacation. Would be happy to join in to your group should you want some interaction, helping with food and transportation.
Why they chose this property
Years ago, this simple house was bought as an investment by single roommates looking for a ski lease. It has evolved to a much larger place with all season benefits.
What makes this property unique
Sitting in the hot tub watching the stars or being snowed on. Sitting with a drink, listening to good music. Wine tasting and BBQing on the main upper deck, entertaining old friends and new. Mountains bike rides at the Nordic Center, just up the hill, is great especially in the evenings. The bike lake/river trail is a couple hundred yards away...paved to Squaw Valley/Palisades, 8 miles away, mostly riding along the Truckee River where rafting can be a great summer adventure.
