HORRIBE EXPERIENCE-Left house after 1 hour!

Ear-splitting construction noise next door- drilling, cement mixing, hammering, 5 construction guys in outdoor patio which only has 2 ' wall separating it from our house. Noise so loud couldn't even have a conversation outside. We called local rep 3 times for help-no one showed up, so after an hour we booked into a hotel; high season so we had to pay $340 night for hotel + all meals! Called owner in Germany who first pretended it would only be for a few minutes noise. Not true! whole house renovation would continue for weeks! We have videos of all the construction we sent to owner, who then implied we were spoiled Americans and that no, there's no air conditioning; There was an extreme heat wave in all of southern Europe, and couldn't have kept windows open even, because of all the noise and construction dust, and two fans in house wouldn't have helped at all. We asked for a refund or Some form of compensation, but host refused and said we MIGHT have found a cheaper alternative hotel. we drove by 5 days later and construction was ongoing and as noisy as before-videos of that also; no wonder there are no current reviews of this house.

We are very sorry to hear, what big problems these guests had. The complained from the beginning that they had to travel for hours from Lisboa to the Algarve, they had problems to find the house event with google map links, they had not been told to use two fingers to open the keysafe and so on... Later they complained, that there was noise from a near construction site and they did not find the fans in the house and so on. Never had such guests in the last 7 years, very aggressive and disparaging style. We tried to help them to find a solution for their complaints with our local agent which went to meet the guests there immediately. But the guests left already and continued to complain via phone and never ending offensive emails. We guess, they went better to a serviced hotel than a holiday house which these guests obviously had no experience with. We hope they had a better time in a hotel with full board and guidance how to use...

Great getaway, good location

This property is a short walk from Monte Caroviero and a little further into the beach area. It took us around 25 minutes in all. It is clean, tidy, and has a wonderful view of a flowering hidden valley that leads down to the rocky shore. Although in the description it says there are two bathrooms my only criticism is that they are not ensuite and one is actually a converted shower/toilet under the stairs on the ground floor. That said, it was fine and the water was plentiful and always hot. There are two large fridges, one with a freezer part inside at the top. It has a dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, juicer, all the usual acoutraments one might expect in a home. There is a rather large deposit required which almost amounted in our case to the price of the 5 nights we stayed there. Other folks have mentioned the security cameras on the top floor, they are outside the bedroom wall pointing down the valley, and what they see of us below rather depends on how wide angle the lens is. Didn't bother us at all All in all a pleasant stay.

La location était vraiment comme sur les photos. Très bien équipée. Propre et très calme. Pour fin mars nous avons eu un super temps et bien profité de la terrasse avec la vue sur la mer. Nous recommandons cette location. Les propriétaires ont bien répondu à nos attentes par mail. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the Algarve

My wife and I and another couple spent five nights in late September at this property, and it was ideal. The place was clean and comfortable, and the patio (with a view of the ocean) was a perfect place to spend evenings. Carvoeiro was a short walk, which we made several times, and where we enjoyed the beach, the outdoor restaurants, and the shopping. We appreciated having the jacuzzi. After a day of swimming and walking and sightseeing, it was the perfect place to sooth tired muscles.

Wir waren erneut im Ferienhaus - und wieder gab es ein wenig MEHR zu bejubeln. Super Service, sehr sauber und ordentlich mit allem Komfort. Großräumig, 2 Bäder, 2 große Schlafzimmer, hell, Stellplatz direkt vor der Türe etc. Selbst an Kleinigkeiten ist gedacht wie Kaffeepads für die ersten Tage, Spülmitteltaps, Küchentücher, Wasser etc. was man sonst in Ferienhäusern meist selbst mitbringen muss. Zudem kann man sich schon einen Einkauf im Vorfeld bestellen falls man Nachts anreist und für das Frühstück vorbereitet sein möchte. Wir haben auch gute Ausflugstipps im Infoheft vor Ort erhalten die man unbedingt ausprobieren sollte! Das kleine grüne Tal in dem das Haus liegt bietet einen traumhaften Ausblick zum Meer und ist so unglaublich schön ruhig (keine Straße in der unmittelbaren Nähe). Der Ort Carvoeiro bietet alles was man braucht und die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt um die schönsten Strände der Region oder auch das Hinterland zu erkunden. Für uns alle der perfekte Urlaub.

Schöne Lage

Die Lage des Hauses überzeugt. Nahe beim Meer und den Klippenwegen, in einer eher von Villen und parkartigen Grundstücken geprägten Umgebung, ruhig, das Ortszentrum gleichwohl fußläufig erreichbar. Das Haus selbst ist dekorationsmäßig in bestem Zustand und stimmig eingerichtet. Es ist so gut wie alles da, was man brauchen könnte. Eine Klimaanlage wird man im Sommer kaum vermissen, weil das Haus dank Marmorfussböden, Fensterläden und dicken Wänden kühl bleibt. Hervorzuheben sind die bequemen Betten, wünschenswert wären indes dünne Einziehbetten. Die gut möblierte Terrasse ist groß und wird von morgens bis zum späten Nachmittag (April/Mai) von der Sonne erreicht. Es handelt sich aber um ein Reihenhaus, d.h. man muss zu den benachbarten, teils mit Pools ausgestatteten Terrassen mit Sicht- und Geräuschkontakt rechnen. Und wenn die Sonne um das Haus herumgegangen ist, kann man ihr mangels Garten auch nicht folgen. Die Vermieter haben sich sehr als sehr zugewandt, hilfsbereit und großzügig erwiesen.

Wie immer perfekt

Wir sind nun das 3. Mal in der Unterkunft und wie immer ist alles perfekt mit einem super Service! Die Ruhe und Lage ist phantastisch! Blick ins Grüne und aufs Meer - was will man mehr! Und nachdem wir mit Kindern reisen: Die Sackgasse wird nur von den Bewohnen genutzt und somit können die Kinder auch bedenkenlos mal vor die Türe! Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!

Schöne Bleibe für Ruhesuchende

Das Haus ist im Gesamteindruck toll. Besonders die umfangreiche Ausstattung machten den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Kleinere Mängel störten unsere Urlaubsidylle nicht und so verbrachten wir eine wunderschöne Zeit in Carvoeiro.

Alle Erwartungen wurden erfüllt

Alles lief rund: vom Flieger direkt in den Mietwagen eingestiegen und direkt vor das Haus (exzellente Beschreibung hinsichtlich des Schlüsselempfangs) gefahren. Rein gegangen, den netten Empfangswein genossen und noch den gesamten ersten Abend mit dem Spitzenausblick. Das Haus ließ für uns keinen Wunsch offen. Sauber, modern und in Schuss, kein buntes Sammelgeschirr, sondern alles so, wie man es sich wünscht. Am ersten Tag fragte eine nette Dame nach dem Rechten und bot ihre Hilfe an, aber die brauchten wir wirklich nicht. Der Schwertfisch aus dem Kamingrill war genauso ok wie die unkomplizierte Abreise. Während zwischendurch gereinigt und alles mit neuer Wäsche versorgt wurde, machten wir zum Schluss kurz Grund. Schlüssel hinterlassen, Abflug und pünktlicher Wiedererhalt der Kaution. So soll es sein. Jederzeit wieder!

tolle 2 Wochen Urlaub

wir waren insgesamt 2 Wochen in der Ferienwohnung und hatten eine super Zeit, die Wohnung mit der Terrasse entspricht genau den Bildern, das uns bei Fewo bewegt hat, die Wohnung mit unserer Tochter zu buchen. Super ist auch der Yakuzi und der gemauerte Grill auf der Terrasse, wir haben uns des öfteren einen fangfrischen Fisch auf dem Grill zubereitet. Die Strände in der Nähe sind zwar teilweise zur Hauptsaison etwas voll, doch da wir einen Mietwagen hatten, stellte dies kein Problem dar, bei über 100 traumhaften Buchten hat man an der Algarve eine super Auswahl. Ich kann die Location (Carvoeiro) sowie die Ferienwohnung mit besten Gewissen weiterempfehlen, wir werden bestimmt mal wieder Portugal besuchen. Vielen Dank auch an den Vermieter Herrn Müller, alles hat reibungslos geklappt.

Ein Haus mit einem Ausblick wie aus dem Bilderbuch

Der Ausblick aus diesem Mittelreihenhaus ist großartig und noch besser als die Präsentation im Netz, da wird nicht zu viel versprochen. Das Haus selbst ist komplett ausgestattet und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die Verwaltung hat sich perfekt um alles gekümmert und auch die Fragen an die Gastgeber wurden prompt beantwortet. Unser Tip: Auf jeden Fall den Whirlpool buchen. Einziger Wermutstropfen, aber dafür kann das Haus nichts, ist der fehlende Zugang zum Strand, den gibt es (auch wie im Bilderbuch) in unmittelbarer Nähe. Dennoch volle Empfehlung für dieses Haus und unsere Gastgeber

ruhige Anlage zur Erholung

wir waren 3 Nächte in dieser Unterkunft. Eigentlich zu wenig, um das Haus und die Umgebung voll auszukosten. Aber auch in den 3 Nächten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Dies hat schon bei der Flasche Wein als Willkommensgruß angefangen. Badezimmer, Küche, Schlafzimmer: alles war sauber und wir hatten nichts auszusetzen. Leider haben wir den Pfad zur nahe gelegenen Bucht nicht auf Anhieb gefunden und sind somit auf andere traumhafte Strände an der Algarve ausgewichen. Wir können die Unterkunft ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen!

Hier stimmt einfach alles!

Wir hatten eine traumhafte Woche an der Algarve - dass wir unseren Urlaub so geniessen konnten, lag nicht nur am super frühlingshaften Wetter jetzt schon im Februar, dem netten Städtchen Carvoeiro und der einfach tollen Landschaft an der Algarve, sondern vor allem an diesem wunderbaren Ferienhaus. Hier muss man sich einfach wohlfühlen! Bei der Ausstattung fehlt es an wirklich gar nichts, alles ist modern und hervorragend sauber und gepflegt. Der Service vor Ort freundlich, hilfsbereit und flexibel. Wir haben entspannte Nachmittage auf der Terrasse in der Sonne verbracht, ebenso wie kuschelige Abende vor dem Kamin. Lediglich das Meeresrauschen war in der Stille zu hören. Unsere Empfehlung für Genießer: Eintauchen im Jacuzzi zur "blauen Stunde"..... Danke für dieses schöne Erleben! Perfekte Woche an der Algarve

Hier ist alles perfekt: das Haus, die Einrichtung, die Landschaft, das Meer, die Strände, die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, das Essen, das Wetter usw. usw. und last but not least die Vermieter. 10 Tage Wohlfühlen

Hallo, wir haben 10 Tage die Algarve genossen und haben uns gefreut eine solch gute Unterkunft zu haben. Das Haus hat in Punkto Ausstattung und Lage keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Die Räume sind groß und hell. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Terasse ( + Balkon) ist gut geschnitten und bietet viel Platz. Das Rauschen des Meeres ist ständiger Begleiter. Das "Yakuzi" auf der Terrasse mit Meerblick lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein. Die Absprachen bezüglich kurzfristiger Nutzung läuft über die MitarbeiterInnen der Verwaltung vor Ort wirklich unkompliziert. Die Betreuung vor Ort war jederzeit klasse, ebenso wie die Raumpflege. Als Strand empfehlen wir den Praia do Caneiros in Ferragudo. Den Strand kann man gut über eine kleine Küstenstrasse (über Sesmarias) erreichen. Hier gibt es neben einem Obst- und Gemüsestand ein Restaurant mit Bistro, sowie öffentliche Sanitär-Anlagen. Am Strand sind zudem Liegen und Schirme zu mieten. Das Schöne hier ist aber das der Strand nie überlaufen scheint. Nach einem Strandtag lädt zudem auch das nicht weit entfernt liegende Restaurant "Le Paradies" (ab 18:00h) ein. Hier bekommt man, neben einer tollen Atmosphäre, leckere Speisen vom Grill. Wanda und Mario, die Inhaber sind mit dem Herzen dabei. Schön ist auch ein angeschlossener Spielplatz für die Kids. Alles in Allem haben wir erholsame Tage im Vale Currais gehabt. Wir denken schon über ein Wiederkommen nach. M. H.

Toller Spätsommerurlaub!

Wir haben mit unseren Freunden zwei Wochen in der zweiten Septemberhälfte in diesem wunderschönen und komfortablen Haus verbracht und die Zeit sehr genossen. Für uns war die Lage perfekt, sowohl als Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge als auch zum Entspannen an "Ruhetagen". Die Betreuung durch die Eigentümer vor und sogar während des Urlaub war perfekt, der Service vor Ort sehr freundlich. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Spätsommerurlaub und würden gerne wiederkommen!
