About this property

House on a hill with a rooftop terrace with big garden and stunning sea view

The detached house is located in the middle of a large garden on the hill (Monte Giove) in a quiet location above the old town of Terracina overlooking the sea. A romantic natural garden with olive trees, oleander, bougainvillea, rosemary hedge, agave and brick hearth for barbecuing surround the house.
The own lemons as well as spices (laurel, rosemary, sage) can be used gladly. There is a rooftop dining area, which is great for dinner in the sunset. Many terraces (partly covered) surround the house to find the perfect sun / shade at all times. The bungalow offers many places to relax and feel good with views of the sea and the bay of Circeo.
A very special place: the view-protected outdoor shower with hot water and side sea view!
Due to the location on the mountain there is often a pleasant breeze, which ensures even in summer for a cool sea breeze. In 3 bedrooms can max. 6 people are housed. All bedrooms are equipped with fans. There is wifi in the house.
The house is mostly used privately and is therefore very personally furnished. Everything for your daily needs is available and distinguishes the house.
Bed linen and towels are provided. (No beach towels)
The center of Terracina is 5 minutes away by car. The old town (Domplatz) is only 8 minutes away on foot.

Built by my grandparents, I am now taking care of this family jewelry. Since early childhood, the house has been familiar to me as I spent and I am spending a lot of vacations in the house. Therefore it is very imortant to me and my familiy, even though I am living in Munich. For me it s important that the house is well preserved and can be enjoyed by my family as well as other holidaymakers. The house is very well equipped because my mother herself spends many months in the house. My little family, especially my daughter loves the beaches and the many possibilities to play in the house and garden.

Why they chose this property

I particularly like the terrace in the sunset with a view over the bay and fishing boats. The good food, the nearby beaches and the quiet location over the picturesque old town have delighted my family for generations.
Another highlight every two years is the olive harvest of our own olive trees to produce our own olive oil. The lemons, oranges, figs and spices also migrate from the garden directly to the dining table and can be used by any resident!

What makes this property unique

Especially in summertime, the cool sea breeze in the evening is a highlight. In the evening, it is worth enjoying a nice glass of wine on the terrace overlooking the sea, fishing boats, the old town and the Monte Circeo and to feel the pleasant light evening breeze.
