So glad we were able to stay at the Old School again (5th time) on a recent trip to PA. As always the accommodations were great in every way! Chet and Carole always go above and beyond as hosts. We’re definitely looking forward to our next stay in December!
The VRBO. Was perfect. Well equipped, everything you would need. I was in Town for a wedding. And got to visit also with friends and family. Carole and Chet were so friendly. Definitely plan to stay there again.

This was our fourth stay at the Old Stanton School and we can honestly say we loved each one. We love the country atmosphere and always feel at home here. Carole and Chet are excellent and very accommodating hosts. We are anxiously awaiting our return in December.
This was such a good place to stay. Not fancy, but comfortable, cozy and clean. The WiFi and TV's worked great as did everything else. Chet and Carole were such nice folks and wonderful hosts. I'll definitely stay here again if I get the chance. 5 stars across the board!

Thank you for staying with us! We definitely look forward to your next visit and some fire pit time! Appreciate your business!
Place was absolutely perfect. Had a wedding and nearby Bella Terra Vineyards and it couldn’t have worked out better. The Pub Shed was the biggest hit for our group of 4! Now I want to build one at our house. Chet really knows how to take care of guests. Thank you so much

Host was very communicative and helpful. Property was clean and well kept. Only real gripe is the lack of ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Got kinda stuffy. Other than that, two thumbs up!

Thanks for staying with us and for your review. I apologize for the inconvenience as the weather is still so unpredictable. The house being 150 years old does not have central A/C. The window units are installed May thru October. There are plans for a mini-split system when the funds will allow. Fortunately, the windows are all functional and if opened, can alleviate the stuffiness.
Not our first stay at the Old Stanton School. We love it here! Carole and Chet even had Christmas decorations inside and lights outside for the holiday! Wonderful hosts! We look forward to returning.

Thank you for staying! Enjoyed chatting with you and please keep us in mind for future stays!
This converted schoolhouse was full of charm and very peaceful. Chet is a very gracious host and communicated well with us before arrival and when we made it there. The house was ready with air conditioning running and Sirius music playing. Very relaxing. Really appreciate the extras like Keurig cups and creamers, bottled waters and snacks. Appreciate the ample.supply of towels and washcloths. We had all the comforts of home. The weather was not conducive to a campfire and using the outdoor bar, but maybe next time. Hope to come back again in the future!

Thank you! Always a pleasure hosting your family! Look forward to your next visit!
Our family of four (including our two young adults) loves staying here. Key traits: it's peaceful, private, exceptionally clean and very comfortable! Plenty of space, with multiple rooms on two floors. The hosts provide many nice amenities to help guests feel right at home. They're also very responsive to anything you may need.

This historical school house is beautiful, roomy, clean, and has wonderful accommodations. The beds were comfortable, there was an abundance of amenities and everything was extremely clean. My husband and I had an incredible time! The hosts are so friendly and a lovely family. We will stay again if we are ever in the area!!!
