This charming 1937 bungalow is located in the historic Palo Verde neighborhood, it's a quick bike ride to the U of A, downtown, Banner Medical Center, and blocks from the Arizona Inn. The thick adobe walls and double-pane windows make it a quiet retreat. Enjoy the oversized covered patio, the mature well-tended desert landscape--front and back--and a private outdoor shower. Enjoy contemporary convenience with vintage charm, including high-end appliances, central air/heat, and a cabinet/desk/murphy bed combination, along with original flooring, light fixtures, and curved walls. The spacious high-ceilinged living room has a comfy couch that can be made into a bed, a working fireplace, and plenty of art books. I have worked in book publishing my whole life - you'll find lots of cool art books in the house! It's important to me that my guests feel completely at home so I've stocked it with mid century modern furniture, comfy beds and couch, a kitchen with everything you need, and a outdoor relaxation area. But please, no pets and no parties.
