My wife and I had a good stay at this home. It was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable and the location, while a few minutes N of Fairbanks, was close enough to explore from. The owner Trudy, was receptive and promptly answered our questions before and during our stay. We’d like to return here someday.
We had wonderful time at this place. We could see northern lights right out of the cabin. All the amenties provided were great. We will definitely keep this place in our mind when we come back sometime in future.

Very clean throughout. Well equipment kitchen. Nice big island and sit down table separate. Comfortable sofa, love seat and bed. Clean bathroom with elongated toilet and spacers shower stall. Heater kept is warm. It's a cabin and we enjoyed it. Would stay here again.
We love staying at this little cabin. Great location and very comfortable. This was our second time here and this is our “go to” place to stay when we are in the Fairbanks area.

Had a great stay at this cabin while in Fairbanks visiting our son. Clean and comfortable, great location, exceptional value for price. We will be staying there again!
Step from bedroom and front door dangerous without night light or reflective device. My husband fell and dislocated his shoulder.

Hi Trudy
Just wanted to let you know that we left early today. My husband had an accident early Wednesday morning he got out of bed to get a drink of water and forgot about the step down into the living area. I took him to the emergency and he ended up dislocating his shoulder and was uncomfortable at the cabin, so we decided to leave early.
thanks Betty

This is an Engineer's assessment of the step:
Notwithstanding the absence of locally adopted/enforced codes, the step was evaluated against
the International Residential Code (IRC), which represents the most widely referenced standard
for one- and two-family dwellings in the United States. Relevant IRC requirements (2021
edition, Section R311.7.5.1):
- Maximum riser height: 7¾ inches
-The measured riser height of the subject step is below this maximum and therefore
compliant.
The step configuration meets standard code geometry requirements for residential interior single
steps.
Conclusion and Recommendations
The single step in question does not violate any applicable building code geometry requirements.
No design, construction, or maintenance deficiencies related to the step were identified that
contributed to the guest’s fall. No further engineering analysis or corrective modifications to the step are recommended at this time.
Respectfully submitted,
Timothy Henry, P.E.

We enjoyed our stay at Cozy Alaskan cabin. Owner communicated well and cabin was clean. We also got to see the northern lights overhead standing in the driveway.
We loved staying here. The host was very helpful. The cabin is updated and lovely. It has a full kitchen. The location was perfect for touring the area attractions.
Very nice little cabin nestled in the perfect location overlooking the Fairbanks lights. Cozy and perfect for our weekend trip to Fairbanks. Thank you Trudy for sharing your cabin with us for the weekend. We enjoyed the hospitality.
This was a great place to stay and experience Alaska. We even walked out on the front porch and saw the Northern Lights. Thank you for sharing your little piece of Alaska!
Our stay in this cozy cabin was great. Our first time to Alaska . Great location, close to everything. Our host, Trudy was very helpful . We saw the northern lights from outside our cabin which was amazing!!! Would stay again. Jeff and Pat, Tennessee
Our family of 3 had a good time. The cabin has a good space and everything you need. There is only one small heater in the living room, but it heats fast enough to make our stay comfortable. The cabin is about 8 miles from Fairbanks downtown in a quiet neighborhood. We didn’t see the northern lights, unfortunately, it was too cloudy, We recommend Trudy’s cabin.
