About this property

The Airport Chalet

Comfortable and modern remodeled 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath home with a garage just 2 minutes from Fairbanks International Airport. Very close to stores and town. You will feel right at home and able to relax during your visit to Fairbanks.

Sit back and relax in this completely remodeled home located in a great neighborhood in west Fairbanks just two minutes away from Fairbanks International Airport.

When you arrive, there will be cold bottled water and snacks waiting for you along with a Keurig and pods. The kitchen is fully stocked with a variety of large and small appliances along with all of the cook and bakeware you will need to prepare delicious meals.

The living space is located on the second floor above the garage. The three bedrooms all have queen beds with quality mattresses and bedding, one bedroom with a smart TV with apps. There is a private washer and dryer. If you are traveling with little ones we also have a pack and play, high chair, and books, games and toys available.

The home is located on the Westside of Fairbanks and is close to downtown, grocery stores, University of Alaska Museum and other local attractions. Chena Hot Springs is about one hour away and Denali National Park is about two hours away. The bus line and bike paths are a couple blocks away.

Are you traveling with a large group?! Additionally on the property are two separate short-term rental units. One is a one bedroom one bath cabin, and the other is a three bedroom one and a half bathroom. Please inquiry for booking multiple units on the property.

Making sure you have a completely enjoyable stay is our highest priority!

Private entrance and a one car heated garage that is available, with additional parking to the right of the Airport Chalet.
Please do not park in front of any of the garage doors.

We try to make sure each guest has everything they need when they arrive for a comfortable stay. We send out an electronic guidebook loaded with local information and strive to make sure you are familiar with your surroundings and how to find things. We are available when needed and welcome all respectful guests to book our home.

Great neighborhood located in west Fairbanks very close to the airport.

Plenty of onsite parking at the house. Bus route is nearby along with access to the bike paths.

We loved staying here in Fairbanks. Not far from anything you would want to do. Quiet neighborhood. Also got to see the northern lights just outside in the front yard. Overall great place to stay!

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Airport Chalet. The unit was clean and orderly and had everything we needed to feel welcome. The place was nice and warm upon our arrival which was really comforting because it was very cold out! Would stay here again, we highly recommend!

This was the best VRBO we've had in Fairbanks! It was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved the kids room, it was the perfect space for them. The location was great too, just 10 minutes away from our small airport and close to the grocery store and all of our favorite restaurants.
