Location was good...
Location was very convenient for CU graduation. We were not able to take advantage of the nice back yard including hot tub but the master bedroom and both bathroom were not very clean. House had a cooped up musty smell. Linens were not new or nice. To be fair the listing did not mention much about the condition of the home just location and view. It did not even have pictures. The other two bedrooms had old futons, maybe OK for kids. we presumed the place would be nicer I guess. Not what we were expecting. Host was prompt with info and getting in and out was fine. Master bathroom looked like a converted closet?

Great stay in Boulder!
We loved our stay for the 5 of us - great location & Pat was a gracious host & helped during our Check-In & was responsive with his communication. Plenty of towels, comfy beds & a well-stocked kitchen. (We couldn't find a toaster, which would be a good addition, but we made do.) A few minor upgrades would make this a top-notch property! Overall, I'd recommend it.

Responsive house and amazing hot tub!
Great long weekend stay at Pat's place. The place was clean, had all the essentials, and was in a very convenient location in Boulder. The BEST part was the hot tub. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

About the host

Host profile image
I am a professional snowboarder for the past 29 years. I moved to Boulder in 2004 to head coach the University of Colorado snowboard team. I bought this house in 2009 because of the view and its close location to the University. I the winters I travel the world snowboarding for several companies. I also am a professional snowboard instructor for Vail resorts. In the summer I own an irrigation business that services the Boulder area.

Why they chose this property

The view from the living room window of the Flatirons is one of the best parts about this property. I would say second is the location and easy access to the best parts of Boulder. Third is the salt water hot tub.
