We had a remodel to do in Alpine and had 3 guys stay for 2 nights and they liked it and said they had everything they needed and it was comfortable. The double bed on the bunk bed is not good for a tall person but comfortable for someone shorter. The owner is flexible and kind.
Kevin was a great host. Very friendly and gave us valuable information about the area. If you’re a snowmobile enthusiast this place is awesome. You can ride up the greys river trail from the house. The place was immaculate and stocked with great games and amazing atmosphere. 10 out of 10. Had a great time!

Amazing property! Full of little surprises to delight and really cozy. Hope we come back!
This house was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of space, plenty to do. Spending precious time with my family around the fire was priceless. Great communication with the host. If back in this area I will say here again.
Nothing but positives to say about our stay. Great location, great cabin, and the owner was more than accommodating and helpful! Would definitely come back!
Everything about the Buffalo Cabin was perfect. The beds are so comfortable, the fireplace was beautiful and it was stoked with all the little things you would need. It was a perfect place for our girls trip away.
I rented the Buffalo cabin for a snowmobile trip. 4 of us total in the cabin and had more than enough amenities for our group. Cabin was stocked with everything we needed we just brought food. Super location as we rode out and also trailered out to local lots.
This was such a cozy, charming cabin and we loved sitting around the gas fireplace after a day of enjoying the mountains in the area! On top of finding everything 100% to our satisfaction, the host, Kevin, went above and beyond to fix our reservation (long story) so that we even saved money on our stay! We would definitely stay here again!
The host of this property has paid attention to the smallest details, creating a peaceful getaway. The cabin is cozy and convenient to many area attractions. The deer even find it a safe place, wandering by as the snow gently fell. If you're looking for a place to relax and feel well taken care of, this place is it.
We had a great stay at the Buffalo cabin. The extras were much appreciated, especially the movie room and all the board games available. We enjoyed relaxing on both porches, and in front of the fireplace. Kevin was very helpful and a great host.
The buffalo cabin was awesome, highly recommend to anyone! Kevin was great and very attentive. We had so much fun and the property did not disappoint. The description and all the positive reviews are 100% accurate.Hope to be back in the future!!
I had a wonderful stay at the Buffalo Cabin! Kevin was a great host and was very hospitable! I enjoyed the drive into Jackson with the Snake River by your side the whole way! This place would be perfect for a family! Thanks again!
We brought our adult kids and their significant others and this was a perfect spot!! Buffalo cabin had it all…. A great location for snowmobiling and winter fun. We were right next to the trailhead and parked our snowmobiles right at the door. The cabin was warm and had everything we needed. The host Kevin was attentive and welcoming. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you Kevin
This cabin is awesome! It’s warm, inviting and immaculate! The host was very responsive and glad to assist in any way to make our trip the best possible experience.
Check it out! You won’t be disappointed.
Cabin was above and beyond expectations. All of the extra things that were thought of was perfect. From the snacks when we walked in, to the popcorn. Pillows were so soft and beds comfortable. Location was quite and peaceful. We were also close to town, walked in one night for dinner.
The place was great. My kids (2 and 4) enjoyed the buffalo and the movie theatre set up upstairs. Kevin have great suggestions for activities and was very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the grand Teton/Jackson area who doesn’t enjoy the people and crowds of a city
Kevin has thought of everything. The buffalo cabin was the best stocked rental our family has ever been in. We spent Christmas here, so lots of cooking, puzzles, game playing, and quality time in the rental. The kitchen was so well stocked for everything we needed- pots, pans, a drawer full of kitchen tools, tons of kitchen towels and hot pads. We had everything we needed. Bathrooms were also stocked beautifully- plenty of towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and body wash/bar soap. They even had a few pods of laundry detergent. We brought our little dogs and the fact that there was a fenced back yard was so wonderful. The beds were very very comfortable. The sheets and pillows felt like a 5 star hotel. We have already started planning our next trip and will absolutely stay at this wonderful property. Myself and my brothers grew up in Alpine so we got the opportunity to walk around town talking about childhood memories and hilarious stories from right outside, making for a wonderful Christmas stay. Thank you Kevin and your team!
Very well kept cabin, with more amenities than listed😎 Camp chairs to take on fishing days were an added bonus for those not fishing! Loved that refrigerator was empty and clean. We got our groceries in Jackson before we traveled to Alpine but the grocery store there was wonderful and I would definitely had used if I had known how nice it was. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!
First off, communication with Kevin was awesome, he responded to our questions immediately. The cabin is very nice. Although we didn’t use the room with the bunks for sleeping, I was impressed with how large that room is. The beds in the other two rooms are super comfortable.
Great location, just off the main road through town but tucked far enough back that it’s very quiet. Right near a grocery store, places to eat, etc. The road up the canyon to Jackson is right there as well.
We will be back, thanks again for a wonderful home away from home!

About the host
Hosted by Kevin
We are a family of adventurers that have been vacationing in Alpine for decades at a family cabin.
Why they chose this property
This cabin is in the same town as a family cabin we have stayed at for decades. When it came available, we jumped at the opportunity. It needed a little love and we had a surprisingly fun summer learning all sorts of things renovating the cabin and loving it back to life. We are super excited to share this little corner of paradise with you and hope you love it as much as we do.
What makes this property unique
The location of this cabin is one of the best in Alpine. People are able to untrailer their toys once and drive up and down the Greys River Canyon, or into town to pick up supplies. The small town has a surprisingly lovely grocery store and gas station. It also has a few cute dining options and a fun brewery. The proximity of the cabin to the multitude of outdoor activities is where it really shines. Close to hiking, fishing, fourwheeling, and snowmobiling up the greys river canyon. Also a short drive to the Palisades Boat launch for boating. For world class (crazy) kayaking head up the greys river canyon in the spring and early summer. For family friendly rapids you can join one of the chartered snake river canyon rafting companies out of Jackson Hole. Or, if you're experienced, rent from Greys River Sporting down the street. All of these options are incredibly close. If you want to drive a little further, Jackson Hole is 35 minutes away and the famous fishing of Swan Valley is about the same distance. Just a little further drive will get you into Yellowstone. Regardless of your destination, this comfortable cabin will be a great basecamp for your adventures, or a cozy place to just get away from it all.
