Welcome to The Boathouse! Waterfront/Boats/Hot tub
The boathouse sits at the water’s edge on a deep and wide bend in the Wallkill River. The living room and deck overlook the water and offer glorious views of sun and moon rises. You will be left speechless by the stars at night. The house itself is a bright space, full of windows and brightly colored rooms. You’ll find an exceptionally comfortable, king-size bed in each of the two bedrooms. Each bedroom is also outfitted with a wide-screen smart tv. One bedroom has a large desk and chair, should you have to check in with the office or map extensive routes for your next day’s climb. The couch in the living room opens into a king-size bed. There are four chairs at the cherry dining table and cherry cabinets in the kitchen. A Viking gas stove was just installed, and a sub zero refrigerator, as I’m upgrading all of the kitchen appliances to our favorite models. The art is bold and furniture oversized for a happy, restful, rejuvenating experience. There is a grassy, fenced yard for your kids and pups. There is also a row boat, canoe and four kayaks for your use. Launch them from your very own dock.

Had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly and responsive, making everything easy from check-in to check-out. The location was convenient and quiet, perfect for relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!
My girlfriends and I had a wonderful getaway and would absolutely recommend both New Paltz, NY, and Seth's home. The house was clean, cozy, and welcoming, and its location made it easy to explore everything the area has to offer.During our stay, we hiked, visited a winery, checked out a vintage festival, went swimming at a lake in Kingston, and spent time exploring Woodstock. Back at the house, we enjoyed relaxing with coffee on the lower deck, took advantage of the kayaks, grilled dinner, and simply soaked in the peaceful surroundings. The only downside was that the hot tub was a bit hazy, so we chose not to use it. I mentioned it to Seth at checkout, and he let me know that if I had reached out during our stay, he would have drained and refilled it for us right away. That's on me, and I appreciate that he was willing to address it so quickly. The only other suggestion I would make is that the outdoor decks and patio cushions could have used a quick sweep or blow-off before our arrival, as there were leaves and debris from being outdoors. Also, the fishing poles didn't reel in. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, created great memories, and would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy the New Paltz area.
Nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Relaxing stay. Kitchen was well equipped. House was clean. Didn't have time to use hot tub or kayaks.
We absolutely loved this little place. Only a few miles to SUNY New Paltz . I especially loved THE BED in the main bedroom. The lines were fantastic too. Lots of blankets available, we went early May so it was a little chilly. Full kitchen with everything you need. I was happy to have a regular coffee machine with filters instead of a Kerig , which I don’t like. Even all the spices and sugar was there for convenience. We went to all the waterfalls and farmers markets. Great locations. The decks are also very nice and rustic. There’s lights surrounding everything if you want to hang outside. The hot tub was perfectly hot enough and very clean. It was a little too cold for me but plenty of kayaks and a little dock was there too. Very private and quiet. Really adorable!! The only thing that was weird is the water pressure. It goes down very low , so just don’t take a long shower. It wasn’t a big problem, the couch was a little lumpy so I just put extra pillows on it. The view of the river , especially in the morning is BEAUTIFUL. We can’t wait to go back !!
