Great downtown Paso rental home

We truly enjoyed our stay at this downtown Paso rental house. It was spacious, clean and had all of the amenities needed. It was also in a PERFECT location which was convenient to restaurants, wineries and shops in downtown Paso Robles. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again and refer others.

Great Location, Clean House - Helpful Notes for Future Renters

Lovely 3 bedroom plus den is DT Paso. Easy 10 minute walk to central park. Very clean inside, upgraded stove, and nice linens. A few comments about the kitchen. There are only 4 dinner plates and 4 forks (but other silverware is plentiful). Although you can use the bread/butter plates as a dinner plate, they are too small. Bring paper plates and extra plastic wear. The outdoor area is nice, the table is covered but you will have to clean the chairs. If you have more than 6 people, bring towels. It's very quiet neighborhood, so be considerate of neighbors, who are very nice. Would stay again, just noting the exceptions mentioned.

Bit of a disappointment

Prior to arrival and during my stay, I received numerous text messages and emails regarding rules/regulations and contracts that needed to be signed. I know it is standard practice to send over a contract after booking a property but this was much more than that it made us feel uncomfortable to be consistently bombarded with rules. I safely assumed that the property must be tightly managed and that the condition of the property would be pristine. I was sadly mistaken. I wanted to treat my family to a relaxing, luxurious getaway and we were still able to make the best of the situation but we did not find our stay to be anywhere close to luxurious. To be frank, I was a bit embarrassed. To name just a few of our concerns: - There were large stains on the carpet - the bedding/sheets did not smell clean/fresh (it left us wondering if they were washed prior to our stay) - the cups were soiled/not washed well (we had to rewash everything prior to use) - the pull out couch bed was extremely uncomfortable Overall, I was disappointed in our stay in light of how much we paid and based on what was advertised on VRBO.

Awesome home in Paso!

The description in the listing for this home does not do it justice. This rental was so much more than we had expected! The rooms were all well appointed and beds very comfortable. The kitchen and family room area is spacious and welcoming- we had a girls weekend with my mom and my daughters and enjoyed hanging out in the common area together. We were even gifted complimentary waters and a bottle of wine!! We stayed in the house in July so it was well over 100 degrees outside. The AC kept the house nice and cool - keeping the blinds closed helped with that as well. My daughter had to work remotely during the day and she never had any issues with the wifi, it was "great" as described! We brought our lab with us and the yard was perfect for him. It's fully fenced so I was never worried about him running out to the street (we never left him unattended though!!!) The gravel and mulch made it easy to clean up after the dog. The only thing that was a little strange was that there were no hand towels in the bathrooms. There were plenty of large, comfy bath towels so it wasn't really a problem, but if we were to stay again we would bring our own face towels. As some people have mentioned, there aren't that many plates but it wasn't an issue for us since we just had 4 people. The kitchen has new gorgeous appliances. Also- parking is on the street and we were fine, no issues. There was some confusion because the rental guide had said to park in the driveway to avoid being fined, but there is no driveway. We parked on the street all three nights with no problem! During our stay, we went wine tasting, to Sensorio, and also to the Mid County Fair. The location of this house is perfect - easy to get anywhere in Paso. Overall a wonderful stay and we would definitely book this place again!!

Great house and location!

We were very happy with our choice. Spacious, clean and walkable to downtown. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, worked out well for 3 of us to have our own space and privacy. Nice open layout, quiet, and bright. Only annoying part was the constant reminder of rules and potential fines. We would stay there again.

Lovely property

We would have given 5stars if not for very small things which are easily changed. 5 stars assumes everything is perfect and no room for improvement. This property was 4.5 stars, very clean, comfortable but the bedrooms need bedside lamps on BOTH sides of the bed. Some of the cookware needs to be replaced as it’s broken. The staff were very attentive with check in etc but perhaps a few less emails or text messages would be preferable. Seemed like we got a check in message everyday for the week leading up to our stay and as soon as we arrived we got more messages tellling us about checking out. With a couple of small changes we would have given 5 stars, really lovely property and very comfortable and well appointed.

Couldn’t have been nicer!

We booked this home for a family gathering including adults,toddlers a baby and a dog! Everyone was comfortable. We took turns cooking in the gourmet kitchen, and had room for everyone around the dining table! The location was perfect! Walking distance to downtown and an amazing children’s museum.

Thanksgiving visit to Paso

The house is comfortable and we had a great, although short, stay. Especially loved the gorgeous yard--and we brought our dog who appreciated being able to go outside and run around. The bathroom fixtures (tp holders) on the walls need to be tightened--(just an fyi) and the shower soap containers can slide off the little shelf. haha...but other than THOSE..it's a great house and we plan on returning.

Paso Robles rental

The house was nice and well appointed but was directly across the street from a school with another school about one block away. Walking distance to downtown was great. The backyard was not usable because of sap dripping from tress over all the furniture. We never found a hot tub. There was a small roll of toilet paper in one bath with no replacement. Less than a get started amount!
