About this property

Restored 1920's peaceful, lakeside cottage

This property is a beautifully restored 1920's peaceful, lakeside cottage. Lovely refinished original hardwood floors throughout. It is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cottage with a lovely 3 season porch with lake and sunset views. Porch has 2 loungers that would be a great place for a nap.

Master bedroom has a full bed with an attached bathroom. Linens, towels, and paper products are supplied. Second bedroom also has a full bed and nearby bathroom. A small size bunk bed is available for small children. A loft above the living area would be a fun place for the kids to hang out!

The living area is equipped with a dining table, desk, sofa, and love seat. There is an additional table on the porch for game playing or to use as a workstation. Wifi and a 55" smart TV are in the home for you to use with your streaming service. Kitchen has many modern amenities and is fully stocked. Central A/C and heat.

Lower Scott Lake is a short stroll across a yard. There is a dock that is available during the summer months and a rowboat and a 2 person kayak and some life preservers that are available for use (recommended that you bring your own life preservers). Fish the lake for panfish and bass. A fire pit is supplied with a small amount of kindling and firewood. A Weber charcoal grill is available for cooking your meals.

The house is on a dead end street, it is a quiet and peaceful spot. The home is within 30 minutes of Saugatuck, a vibrant arts community, and South Haven, a popular beach town. Multiple breweries, vineyards, and orchards are in the area. Gingerman Racetrack is about 10 minutes away from the cottage.
